Topic: Luigi's Mansion 3

Wasn't too interested in it until I watched one of the Treehouse segments on it this morning. I've never played a Luigi's Mansion before, but this looks great.

Pretty unique too in that you can tell by looking at the environmental design (and that director ghost) that it's developed by a western studio rather than Japanese. It has the vibe of a western cartoon, which isn't something you'd usually see from Nintendo.

Although I liked Luigi's Mansion 2, I wasnt that interested in Luigi's Mansion 3. After seeing the game in action though it's become my final game for my voucher purchases (along with MUA3, Fire Emblem and Astral Chains).

Treehouse did a brilliant job demoing the games this year. The segment on Luigi's Mansion did dispel tons of doubts people had after Dark Moon.

Btw, does the game run on 60 / 30 fps from Treehouse Demo gameplay ?

Seemed to me that it was 60 fps, but I'm not an expert so I could be wrong.
It did look to be very smooth, though.

Amazon Mexico has listed LM3 for an October 4th release date.

I mentioned this in a comment under the article about the Japan-only My Nintendo Luigi merchandise. I also recall seeing a blurb about it in this week's Nintendo Download update for North America.

I didn't see the harm in it; I've got nothing to lose, and my platinum coins tend to expire anyway.

I'm extremely hyped for Luigi goes through a haunted hotel the third, I love Luigi, and I love the luigis mansion games to death, one of my most hyped games of 2019 so far

I've watched a few videos on YT but I still don't really understand what I can expect gameplay wise. A demo would be really helpful.

I just hope Luigi's mansion 3 doesn't use the mission structure of the second game. I missed how in the original you just go from room to room finding keys and opening new areas. You know what i mean? Has this been confirmed yet to be the case?

@Zeldafan79 I think it’s a bit of both. So no mission structure forcing you to stop and go back base but also not that open feel nature of the first game; think level structure where every floor is its own contained little world you explore and complete and then move on to the next lvl/floor.

Eagerly awaiting this game. My two friends are just as excited and actually getting their own copies, so we can all play; we tend to play different things so that’s a big win. I believe we’re having a get together this weekend, too.

@HobbitGamer I'm super stoked myself. Having beaten lm2, and never playing the original, I'm curious to see how lm1 played like. I'll even hop and play some multiplayer with ya.
