I want to write a top five/ten greatest issues with the Switch. This encompasses general issues such as low storage, physical issues such as warping, scratching, and bending, and technical issues such as the internet connection being shoddy and not connecting well when other devices can and the percentage of the battery being displayed incorrectly. So, disregarding the issues I've mentioned, are there any other problems with the Switch that I should be aware of?

I've had a grand total of none of those issues. The warping and bending are complete non-issues. Some people might have Switches with an extremely slight bend in them, but they aren't even noticeable unless you actively look for them, and they don't have an impact on how the system functions. The scratching can be an issue, but it's easily mended with a screen protector. My internet connection has been fine, and the battery is displayed accurately as far as I can tell, although I haven't had it lower than like 60-80%, so I can't say for sure.
The only other "issue" I can think of is some of the JoyCons having connectivity issues, but that was just a manufacturing issue that has been fixed, and sending it to Nintendo for repair solves the problem.
Probably its biggest issue is people looking for any opportunity to exploit anti-Nintendo bias and blow any minor issues up for the sake of clicks.
Why don't you write 'Top Ten reasons negativity sucks hard' instead?
My biggest issue with the Switch is that I'm constantly in a dilemma as to whether I should play my favorite game of all time or my second favorite game of all time on it.
Yes, because I created an account for a website dedicated to Nintendo for the purpose of exploiting and blowing up negative features in Nintendo products instead of becoming part of a community which likes Nintendo. I want to write about it because I want to express the issues I've had, maturely discuss any related experiences other people have had, and understand how to solve ones I've encountered and may encounter.
I'm sorry you took my question in the completely wrong context.

@Ultimategamer132 No problem. The internet connectivity thing might be an issue for some people, although I think it's not as bad as it used to be. Pretty sure the stability updates have helped people connect their Switch to the Internet. I personally have never had issues, though, and I bought mine on launch day.
I've heard that the internet issues can be solved for some by resetting, but for some such as me, a wired connection and LAN adapter needs to be found. Hopefully it gets better when the paid internet rolls out.

@JasmineDragon That sounds like the worst issue. Well, at least your kids get a hard lesson about your word being law.
Can't say I've had any issues at all with my Switch. Took it out to the park with my friends on Saturday and played some 2-player Shovel Knight and PuyoPuyo with a friend. Suffice to say, we had a blast.
Oh! I guess it was a little annoying trying to figure out how to get 2-player to work for Shovel Knight but once I realized what I was doing wrong, it was fairly snappy and quick. Both my friends seemed to enjoy themselves - though they didn't like the actual game anymore than I did.
Never take anything I say seriously. S'all you buddy. ;)
Mainly play on my Switch but I have 3DS, Wii U and PS4 as well.
Fave game series include: Pokemon, Smash Bros, Splatoon, Disgaea, Bayonetta, Dragons Dogma, Phantasy Star & Arena of Valor.
Another issue with the Switch is that you can't backup your save data.
Thats actually a big issue. I would say all physical problems aside - can be solved, because either their manufacturing gets better, they can repair it or they bring out a perfect revision and this "switch 1" was just a beta version.
The huge problem is actually the software. For example compare 3ds firmware 1.0 with the switch firmware 1.0
You have no start apps to demonstrate the techs new powers: no face raiders, no AR games,no social games like Mii plaza or mii maker
you got no internet browser: you cant even check ur emails or twitch accounts
no backup system for save files or game files.
no dedicated dev platform for newcomer software developers like steam greenlight or pandora repo.
no fast new software otr utility tools in general: no mp3 player. no photo app, no video player for .mkv files
no document tools or workspaces for multitasking
startprice for old 3DS was 250 bucks, yes maybe overpriced but at least u got max system software like mp3player, stereo 3d photos and 30 ambassador retro games
now look at switch 330 bucks and u get a barebone package. its a hull: 0 games, 0 apps, hell u cant even chat with people from friendlist!
switch might be worth it value for money in 2018 or 2019 if they got free system integral apps ready, but the switch 1.0 from march 2017 is a shot into the foot even for enthusiast gamers. why should u pay like 410+ bucks only to be able to play the new zelda? you can play zelda cheaper anyway on your WiiU.
The only benefit i would see i switches table or handheld mode for vacations, but it doesnt seem physical robust enough for beaches, swimming pools or outdoor partys. imagine u do tabletop on the beach and the kickstand breaks off? good luck finding that flimsy piece of plastic in the sand. Also the fan openings arent really sand friendly lol.
@Masurao
please stop those personal insults. those just make you look bad or your opinion irrelevant. sure we get it your a fanboy and want to experience your new toy, but u should respect us as customers. You know if the switch will stay niche and only sell like WiiU then the company will diminish like sega and do software ONLY in future. You know me or anyone else sceptical could be a potential customer in the future and even enhance your online experience? either as contestant or coop partner?
Anyway constructive criticism is always far more important because humans, engineers or companys only learn from failures and can improve from there.
Believe me i dont want the switch to fail, but nowadays the requirement for succeful consoles are very high. Nintendo cant just bring out a gameboy with 0 internet in 2017 and expect it to have massive success and mass appeal. If nintendo wants the crown back for best gamers platform they need to do their homework first ...
Including the user's listed in the first paragraph, I greatly appreciate all your experiences and feedback. In fact, it's given me more direction with my writing and made me want to create a combined top 5 best and worst things about the Switch in order to recognize it's great features and fun, while also being sure not to neglect its most prevalent issues. Again, thank you all!

@Ultimategamer132 Don't get me wrong, I know that people have experienced problems and I'm not one to make light of people's disappointment. I consider myself lucky that I haven't had any problems, especially since the second most active gamer on my Switch is a nine-year-old tomboy.

Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.
Like Masurao said, i think it should mainly be our problems/issues with the Switch in general and not what some people have had a problem with.
The Xbox 360 had an issue that was widely known (red ring of death) and I think that partly put me off of it despite seeing others with working 360's. I did have other issues too though like a bad experience with my original Xbox (I enjoyed playing it, but it often had problems reading discs and it seemed to be an issue with everyone else I knew who had one. It wasn't a whole lot of people though so it could have just been an issue with some people) and paid online put me off of it too. However I think the red ring of death might have been a bit over exaggerated perhaps.
I have had one issue with the Switch though regarding the joy-cons. When I first got it, I didn't notice that the grips have a plus and minus symbol on them and put it on backwards. I was a bit worried since it seemed stuck, but I figured out what to do and paid attention after that. I feel like it should be possible to change the design grips a bit so it won't go on the wrong way.

Ok. I'll bite.
Anything in regards to the operating system is something that can be fixed relatively easily over time.
Things like being able to move save data on or off an SD card or into cloud storage are things that I'd be astonished if they don't give us at some point over the next year. Likewise non-gaming apps like YouTube, Netflix and a web-browser will come if the format sells enough units and they'd be widely used. Personally I think the focus of the format actually benefits from not having them at the moment.
I'm not sure why you'd need a tech demo to show off the hardware though. Zelda shows off what it can do better than any gimmicky built in software could. If you're still in the market for something to show off a few more features then 1-2 Switch exists.
As for a dedicated "steam greenlight" equivalent - I don't understand why you'd want that. The Switch isn't a format for newcomer software developers and it shouldn't be.
Consoles have always been home to a more curated set of software than PCs. That means you don't get as many really off the wall experimental titles on a console but that you can have confidence that anything you buy on a console will actually work. If a newcomer software developer makes something interesting and good enough then it'll eventually make its way to console.
In that way Steam itself is to Switch what Steam Greenlight is to Steam.
...
Oh and I fully expect Nintendo to release an actual-honest-to-god GameBoy Classic in 2017 or 2018 with no internet and a black and white screen and for it to fly off the shelves at a rate that makes the NES Classic look like a firework next to a nuclear explosion.
I'm considering whether I should pre-order 10, sell 9 and retire.
