Topic: Kingdom: New Lands

Wow, we really don't have a forum for Kingdom: New Lands? I couldn't find one, so here we are! This thread is all about the survival strategy game 'Kingdom: New Lands', released on the Nintendo Switch eShop on September 14th, 2017. Feel free to share your thoughts about the game, ask questions in case you need help in the game and do whatever else relates it.

Actually, I just downloaded it and simply wanted to comment on how bland and boring the home menu icon looks for a game that is otherwise so beautiful.

Oh ya, there we have it again. Miserable game icons on the home menu.
The Snake Pass and LEGO Worlds disaster repeating.

The game looks very interesting, but I'm a bit picky about downloads these days.

The multiplayer sequel Kingdom: Two Crowns comes to Switch next year.
I'm more inclined to buy if both games get a combined retail release.

anyone have funny glitch?
i quit the game after sail off the first island, then plug out the power cable to charge my phone
after overnight i plug it back and resume game only found it restart at island 1 start day 1 but with 2 merchants, 3 kings and 3 ship and the knights i sail off with
1 ship is at the dock already 1 ship i just rebuild it to see if i can sail it off again but turns out i can only sail off on 1, but the 2 merchants were fun

has anyone played this recently? it looks like there was a patch in November to fix the FPS drops. I'm debating on picking this up on PC, but would rather play it on the Switch if it runs well.

I picked it up a week ago or so. I noticed there was a little bit of choppiness when I first started playing, but I don't know if that's been patched out with the recent update or not as I don't notice it as much now.

I've put around 10 hours into it so far - I really enjoy it, it's a nice little pick-up and play for a bit, put it down, pick it up and continue where you left off. I've beat the first two islands within that time, so I'm expecting at least double the amount of play-time to beat the remaining islands, but there's a lot of replayability with this one to say the least.

I'd recommend it.

@Imerzion Thanks. I ended up picking it up last night after reading on Reddit that the November patch fixed those issues. I started the game and then couldn't put it down. The art alone is worth the purchase and the game is really fun. I have no idea what half the stuff does, but it's fun figuring it out.
