Are there actual dungeons in this game?

I want the collectors edition with the necklace but I dont feel like going through the shipping hoops. Sigh. Hopefully some import retailer will pick it up. Capcom is selling the necklace alone so here's hoping. I am still trying to find the hanafuda cards.

@Ralizah Yes there are quite a few. They aren't technically called dungeons, but they are large areas where monsters have taken over the place so they are the same thing.
The progression is also similar with some light puzzle elements and fights. You also unlock new brush powers which are this game's equivalent to the hookshot, bombs etc, which of course play an important part in the boss fight at the end of the dungeon.

I actually enjoy some of the dungeons in Ōkami more than some Zelda games because I feel like they make you use all of your brush techniques in a dungeon, instead of some Zelda ones where the focus is only on the new item. The dungeons are also really creative with the locations and concepts, one of the best parts of the game for sure!

@Ralizah There are dungeons and just like in pre-BOTW Zelda's,you solve a few puzzles,defeat a boss and then can access a new area of the map.
