I have recently bought a Nintendo switch and about a week later the motion controls on my right joycon aren't working I've tried recalibrating them and it just shows loading and never calibrates can someone tell me how to fix this. Thanks

@Tommy10 My switch is 3 years old, but in the past year, the right joycon (in handheld mode)sometimes has trouble sync-ing. Granted, that means the buttons dont work either. I don't know if your issue is that similar. I've consumed Nintendo news since Switch launch, and I haven't heard of the issue. So, I don't know how common that is. Obviously you have the issue, though.

I found nintendo's support page for "joycon motion controls not responding correctly, or cannot be calibrated". Forgive me if you've already gotten that far. I didn't see anything else, and the page says call nintendo support if you can't get it to work. A lot of times I see people come here to ask about a nintendo tech issue, and they are not aware of how good nintendo's support & support phone line are. So, I would say give them a call. In the US, here, it's pretty easy to get a person on the line, and they are great. So, if you were trying to avoid calling because you're worried about the hassle, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. I mean, calling is never my first option, but it's always been a positive experience.

This is a Warranty/Return for replacement issue. One should take and back to the place you bought it at. Unless this is used with Return for replacement/refund date then you need to talk to the place that you bought it from to replace it first. Then next would be to contact NIN support and provide all Proof of Purchase when doing so. Asking for help on here doesn't guarantee you any fixes or repairs for product in Warranty period or Limited Return Period.
