Hello,
I have just bought a Switch.
Sometimes, whiIe I'm playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in handheld mode, the joy cons stop working in game. However, the Home button works and, in system menus, the joy cons work correctly. When I go back to game, joy cons still don't work, and a message prompts me to connect joy cons. The only way I can get past this problem, is to turn off and on again the screen: only then the game start recognizing again the joy cons.
Is it a known problem? What should I do?
Thank you in advance for your answer.
@Sonikku Make sure your Switch is updated to the latest firmware via system update, and I think there's a separate update for the joy-cons to have a hunt around for that in the controller /system menus.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
@gcunit Thank you for your answer! I didn't know there was a separate update procedure for the Joy-Cons. My Switch was already updated to the latest firmware. Now I have updated the Joy-Cons: I'll let you know if the problem persists or if this update has solved it.
