Me and my friend planning to buy a Switch console in Japan which is cheaper than where we live.
Will Japanese Nintendo Switch language can be change to english language. And also the game do we have to buy at Japan or on our own country which is at Singapore.

The system language can be changed and I believe you can buy and play games from your own country - the console is technically region free.

I know the eShop is available for any region. I currently have both a US and Japanese Nintendo account on my Switch and I can download from either region.

For the first time, Nintendo Switch is a universal console, meaning that it has major languages regardless where you buy it and it's region free. The only thing you need to change is the AC adapter that comes with the console, since power wattage differs from country to another.

Making promise is easy. The hard part is keeping it.

Even when it comes to the AC adapter, Nintendo Switch has become a truly international console. The AC adapter of my European Switch states that it accepts all voltages 100-240V at frequencies 50/60 Hz. I am not sure about the Japanese unit, but I would definitely take a look at it. If the Japanese AC adapter also accepts a wide range of voltages and frequencies, all you need is a power plug adapter for your country without the need to buy a new country-specific Switch AC adapter.

@Excalibur_120 actually, that's a good point. I think they did it to make it possible to dock the system anywhere you go where there's a switch connection point. I like it
