I'm not sure, and there's a lot of people saying it's real or like me undecided.
Let's get one thing straight, it certainly wouldn't surprise me if this was it.
THE ONLY thing that tells me it may be fake is the risk this guy would take to keep a lot of people he doesn't even know happy?
If real I bet Nintendo could look at that controller and say "that is x's dev kit", Sue them now!
I remember reading something about the design of the Wii U game pad and how long it took the get the right design so that it was comfortable to hold and sat in your hand right, There is nothing comfortable looking about the controller
I don't think this is fake. I may be an absolute detective for thinking it but the more I look at it the more I like it.
I'm not buying that "ET" face in the screen either. I mean come on.
Also NX is supposed to be able to run UE4 so why wouldn't it be on the controller?
I do expect the guy who posted it hadsbeen fired already that's for sure
This blue eye perceives all things conjoined. The past, the future, and the present. Everything flows and all is connected. This eye is not merely seen reality. It is touching the truth. Open the eye of truth... There is nothing to fear.
I still believe the console has a controller with a screen. But I'm glad if this rumor is fake.
I really hope Nintendo isn't stupid enough to make the same mistake twice.
So long as the controller has a screen, it will cost significantly more than a standard controller. So long as that's the case, they will be limited in how powerful they can make the device.
And to put it simply, a touch screen on the controller doesn't inspire enough original gameplay ideas to justify the loss.
@Djlewe78 it could run UE4, but I highly doubt he captured the exact same point in the demo as a public screenshot

@iKhan: I think a lot of people are hinging on the idea of the controller having a screen because of the desire for it to be hybrid with the controller being the portable part of the system.
We know Nintendo is going to do some kind of gimmick with the system, it's a just a question of what that gimmick is.

And as I've said before, a hybrid is a prescription for catastrophic failure.
The only way I can see a hybrid not catastrophically failing is if the core console is a handheld, and the only "hybrid" aspect is optional.
It's still not going to be used much as a hybrid, but they have a solid handheld to fall back on.
I do feel as though some form of screen on the controller is likely, simply for backward compatibility and Virtual Console purposes — it'd be hard for Nintendo to sell everyone those DS, 3DS and Wii U games again without two screens.
However, if the final product looks anything like this concept (fake or not), I hope that Nintendo has invented some sort of magic fingerprint-proof technology. Cause that thing's gonna look like a mess real quick.
I sure as **** hope not. But sadly for once I am not getting a "definitely fake" vibe from this. I want buttons. Also I hate the shape and hope if it is a prototype that they just go ahead and make it more of a rectangular shape like a phone.
As long as they can offer a full gaming experience with some thing like this then I am truly sold on 'new concept'. If they are gonna shovel mini game nonsense on this then I am out.
I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.
One thing is for damn sure, they're gonna have a hell of a hard time trying to explain this to people when/if it's revealed. They can't just do another "You have to try it yourself to know how great it is". First impressions will be extremely important, and showing the entire gaming populace a controller with no physical buttons is not going to go over well. I would suspect Federation Force + Color Splash backlash x 1000.
