@NEStalgia Of course, not Li-ion batteries, but it's the same concept. It would be comparable if we had cars that ran on coal today. And there's nothing wrong with carrying around a small fission reactor every day

I don't know how big the yield is of inductive charging, not very portable, but it would be neat if you had a device that could be used anywhere in the room without having to worry about energy storage. It would also be incredibly inefficient I'd imagine...

Nintendo would not set it up this way if it were dangerous to do so. But like most devices it is good to turn it off from time to time.
