This game is good, but...

I was playing Ironcast recently, a couple hours to be honest (i think 3rd playthrough total, first without dying), and after killing second boss - badum tss... the game is over...

I'm kinda confused right now - is there anything else to do in this game? I know, commendation marks, but they make the game even easier to play...

I saw there are some strange achievements on steam version like "Reach Global Unlock level 10". What exactly is that?

Yeah, I got to that point too - expected way more.

I've enjoyed the game, but have to say that it does have some issues that show that Switch was definitely not it's primary or intended target. Things like the strange inventory menus (having to press X/Y to select option for weapons, but nothing more than A on drive and shield), but my biggest issue is the small in-game text and the fact that you HAVE to read it - the text is tiny on the handheld mode and when I'm tired it's really difficult and my vision is good according to my last eye tes. People with poor vision would have real trouble. Not reading the mission status can have you lose the entire game just by firing one shot - no warning "Don't do that!" or anything.

But yeah, it's good (except the graphics), but very short lived - I was hoping to be playing this game for at least a month (even longer would have been great), not just a few hours.

I've played over ten hours so far and have just beaten the French guy in his super ironcast. I thought he was the end boss but apparently something chased the French over and has been spotted in the channel. I'm delighted that I'm only half way through as I still have quite a few unlocks to get. I actually thought it was a game I would probably only get a few hours out of when I bought it so having more than ten on my profile page is a bonus. I suspect I'm close to fifteen hours to be honest.

I felt exactly the same way and thus just posted in the "games you feel are overrated" thread (after seeing the name pop up in the forums, before reading your thread).
You feel like working your way really hard up to that point and yes, sometimes it really felt more like work than play, and suddenly it ends.
I mean you always have like three choices for missions, that after all don't really matter for anything except levelling your gear up.
The story in the beginning feels like it could have been so much more.

Never want to come down, never want to put my feet back down on the ground.

I love IronCast. It really doesn't get the love it deserves although tbf it's not a looker, it's very short and it looks like a Match 3 game (which it kind of is), but it's also so much more.

Get it people!!
