@Tops
Yeah, I've quite a few Wii U and Wii games I've never played. I bought them because they were supposedly pretty good and on a sale, for example Batman: Arkham City and Arkham Origins on Wii U. I'm no Batman fan, but a fan of good games. I played like 10 hours with the first one and I have started Origins just once to see if it works. Some GOTYs are not for me.

I stopped collecting any good game and started buying (only Switch) games that seemed awesome to me personally and do not disappoint so I completed them 100% (Super Mario Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, Xenoblade 2, L.A. Noire, Thimbleweed Park, Sine Mora EX) and games that seemed exciting enough for me to play through at least once by all the info I gathered (Disgaea 5 Complete, Mario+Rabbids, DOOM, Skyrim, This Is The Police, Portal Knights). These 6 are still in my rotation and I have some of them almost done - and along with them go some excellent indies that I got as a gift (The Count Lucanor, Toki Tori 2+).

For downloading software to the Wii and Wii U there's a total amount of slots you can fill.
The maximum amount of software you can put on any Wii SD Card or Wii U external harddrive is 300 channels or games/demos/apps . When you download game #301 the prompt basically says that you need to delete something else for the new game to show up in the Wii SD Card menu or Wii U menu.
