@Joeynator3000 Only the Wii U version had the spinner as an amiibo unlock, both Legends and Definitive Edition has it instead as an Adventure map reward.
@EasyDaRon At least it sounds like you didn’t run into the co-op bug I did, where P1 showed up on bottom instead of top and vice versa, and each player was dragging around a copy of he scenery with them making the game confusing and nauseating. Fortunately if anyone gets this, it’s easy to fix. Just close the game completely and reopen.
Also I’m regards to 1), I’ve found sometimes in co-op it seems like it’s bugged because you have to be somewhere in the map to trigger something (like, if a bunch of gates lock behind you) and if the co-op player isn’t there too it doesn’t happen. Idk if this was your issue, but it’s something to think about.
Currently procrastinating on: implementing virtual memory and synchronization.
Currently distracted with: Mario Tennis Aces
Well this is very odd. The framerate in handheld and docked is awful and very inconsistent with added flaw of stuttering in docked. Some people notice and experience it but others saying they are not. Very odd indeed. Anyone else here having issues with framerate and stuttering in both handheld and docked? Experiencing different bugs is one thing because it's random. That doesn't go for framerate. It's either poor and inconsistent or isn't.
It would seem that while docked provides more fps in general, it's a bit more inconsistent.
Constantly going from 60 to 45 and any number in between. Almost like a wavelength.
Compare that to the original WiiU game, which dipped below 30 but tended to stay in one place for longer, or the new 3DS game which stays firmly at 30 most of the time.
Ugh, is it just me or is anyone else who's using Joycons accidentally pressing A, it's irritating. lol Especially when there were no enemies around when you activate that attack. lol

Keep it PG-13-ish.
I bought the game last friday & have played it once but have to confess i'm a little confused lol. is there a way to make the writing in the instructions & when they speak any bigger? I'm finding it very difficult to read. is one mode better to start with? Thanks.
@Jen10 yeah the font is really hard to read sometimes, it's one of my few complaints about this game. Especially in handheld. Wonder if they would be able to patch it to make it larger. Would also like online multiplayer or at least local wireless would be great as well.
Got the game on Friday and I've pretty much been playing it nonstop since. Wondering if anyone knows which is a better weapon overall: Zelda's rapier or Zelda's dominion rod? Or at least what are the strengths and weaknesses of each? I've found a lot of different "tier lists" that disagree with each other on specific details.
Sounds like another first-party game where handheld mode isn't properly optimized. That's a real shame. Guess I'll skip it until there's a decent sale.
For me, the game is mostly in the high 40s and low 50s, it only reaches 60 if there are no enemies on the screen.
That said, it normally stays in that range and I don't find it distracting. So I wouldn't call it 'stuttering'.
I would have preferred the performance options presented in FEW. Since this game is always above 30fps, it might as well be locked at 30fps with 1080p resolution, with the option for a more consistent 60fps if played at 720p.
