Topic: How to switch what side you start on: Smash Bros Ultimate

For some reason when I play Smash Bros Ultimate now I start on the right side. I want to play on the left side. Can't figure out how to change that.

It’s not random? I just picked it up and haven’t paid attention to it. Or does it have to do with which place your are on the character select screen?

I found out what was happening. If you turn on Underdog Boost under the rules settings, it places you on the right side of the screen for some reason.
