Ok, I just found a post like this (https://www.nintendolife.com/forums/nintendo-switch/buying_on_foreign_eshops), and thats cool, but I can’t seem to find anywhere I can buy UK games. I already got a UK account, I just need a way to get these UK games without my card being rejected. (I want to get the new Brain Age)
What website could I buy UK eShop cards with a US debit card? (Need at least £25, not out of stock)
@EddieGames Ok, so you can access UK eshop, right? Each region can only accept the currency of that region. So you need to buy a prepaid card of UK pounds. Off hand, I recall you have to buy a card on amazon or playasia for the amount in pounds. Then you used that card in the UK eshop. I haven't done it myself. When you find a card in pounds, it might on be in amounts in 5s and 10s. So, be ready for that.
So far, though, I've only used my UK account to get a demo, which obviously doesn't need money.
@EddieGames I saw someone on Reddit say they didn't need a foreign currency voucher, they paid with PayPal. So, maybe that's a workaround? Worth a try, if you have paypal.
In the UK I use the Revolut app to get a virtual debit card that can be used internationally. I then setup an American PayPal account and linked my Revolut card to that account. Then I linked that PayPal account to an American Nintendo Account. This has allowed me to buy games from the US and Mexican eshops from the UK without having to buy prepaid eshop cards.
Assuming you can get Revolut in the US you should be able to reverse my setup to one that works.
FOUND A SOLUTION
It was surprising that I could not find any instructions online about this. All of the main sites ppl use like PlayAsia, CDKeys and others are sold out of UK eshop cards. Amazon blocks users from buying digital eshop cards unless the origin of the account is listed in the country you are buying for. I even trying making my default address a UK address. nope..
I made a UK amazon account and used a UK address generator to make it my default address but as soon I went to buy the UK eshop card, it recognized that my billing address didn't match and that it was US. Once I changed my billing address to match UK address my order was denied and I got locked out.
Long story short..... I was able to buy a UK eshop card and get it delivered in 10 seconds from Dundle!! https://dundle.com/gb/nintendo/
Just make sure the region is UK and it shows the currency as pounds and you are good!!!
