It now has its own channel and in the description says its "Switch premiere is closer and closer". It will probably be on the Eshop by the end of this month. Hopefully it is one to look forward to. It looks rather ambitious for an small indie but then Outlast and Rocket League were made by small indies too and look how well those turned out.
@noobish_hat "Hollow will run at 30 frames per second in all play modes. When Switch is docked, the game will run at 720p. The resolution drops a bit to 600p in portable mode."
That doesn't sound bad at all. Not ideal, but certainly not bad.
@noobish_hat Yeah it doesn't sound ideal but nothing terrible. Yooka Laylee ran at 600p portable and no one complained about that. But if the resolution dips below that, and if the framerate regularly dips below 30, then we'll have a problem. In the meantime I choose to be optimistic though!
This game does look pretty intriguing all-in-all, might give it a shot depending on reviews.
Mario Galaxy is ten years old, and now I feel old.
Hollow was just released on the eshop. I find it really strange that a game like that, which seems quite ambitious, hasn't got any coverage and poped up suddenly completely under the radar like that. Has anyone tried it yet? Any hands-on impressions on it?
@Syndrome Switchwatch on YouTube put a review up earlier and it's not good. They gave it a 3.5 out of 10 and a warning not to buy this game whatever you do. Cheesy, very slow, performance issues and most of all, just not fun to play. I trust their opinion, they're a great source for reviews and go really in depth with them . I've been subscribed to them for a while.
@OorWullie Thx for the link. I knew something didn't quite feel right about this game. Although it's of a genre i love i'll probably gonna skip it until it's on a bargain price.
Nice channel btw also subscribed. Cheers.
