Im looking for a headset that could work with it but most articles only mention the PlayStation Gold wireless headset to work with the Switch. Has anyone tried a different brand? The PlayStation one is a bit expensive so I'm looking for other PS headsets that could work with it.

What about this one? It connects the same way the PlayStation one would:

I haven't yet. I've been meaning to try my Xbox One headset though. I'll let you know.

I'm pretty sure most of the recent wireless headphones are bluetooth only. I do think a wireless headphones with a USB adapter would work, though. I tried looking on Amazon though and those seem to be somewhat difficult to find. Then again I just suck at looking for stuff, lol

My Xbox One headset doesn't work. Its a PDP Afterglow AG 9+. It didn't even power on the light on the USB.

This probably isn't an applicable situation for everyone. But I have my dock setup on a my computer desk to a TV. I didn't know this but you can plug in wired headphones to the Switch while its docked and listen to it. It cuts the audio away from the TV.

@Inertiacreep could you just unplug the computer speakers and plug them into the headphone jack on your Switch when you play it?
