I like them both. Stardew Valley is hard to play on a laptop/tablet though... So I don't get to play it too often.

Edit: The game just got an update in steam. It changed the default key bindings a bit. And did "minor fixes". Dunno what's fixed.

So the game is now up for pre-purchase on the eShop. It’s offered as a stand-alone download or as a bundle with the season pass for “extra savings”.

Quite conveniently, the shop lists basically all there’s to know about the 4 upcoming dlc packs:

Pack 1 comes on the 29th and includes new decorative items to purchase in game and additional upgrade levels for the watering can and hoe, for some quite overkill coverage.

Pack 2 comes out 06/19 and includes two new marriage candidates, a scientist girl and a detective boy.

Pack 3 comes out 7/10 and includes two additional story segments involving Melanie and Doc, which end up unlocking new outfits and decor for your farmhouse.

Pack 4 comes out 7/31 and gives the player the option of romancing the Harvest Goddess and Gorgan, king of the underworld.

It's a half decent game. So much better than Skytree Village. Trying to hop over the blocky landscape in that was a real pain. Seems like they've gone back to basics and hopefully, can build on it.

They're improving with each game, they just need to work on their polishing skills, and give some more effort to the aesthetics.

To be honest I liked the blocky terrain, it introduced new concepts and gave something to do besides mining and farming. The Lost Valley, their first entry, is my favorite of their Harvest Moons.

Skytree Village improved upon it, but they forgot to solve many of the basic glitches and problems the original game had. In the end, both games were so fundamentally identical I quickly grew bored of Skytree Village, since I had played The Lost Valley a lot.
