Topic: Graphical glitch in BOTW since switch system update :( (maybe not a glitch)

Hello,

i have just updated (with a bit of difficulty, for some reason, the switch had difficulties finding the wifi) the console and now i have a graphic bug in Zelda wich wasn't here before ((((

I'm in kokoriko village and if i'm close to a lamp or a light source, i get weird orange "surfaces" on link face and shirt....it even appears on npc (( Right now i'm in the room with imba and my head looks like it has an orange "hole" in it.. it is horrible..
even outside, if i get close to a torch, this lightning bug appears
i tried everything : turn off/on the console, changing save, etc..

Is there a way to revert the update or re download it? i think there was something wrong during the installation/download because of the wifi thing....at the end of the download it became very slow and maybe something happened..when i tried to update, it would almost always tell me it couldn't connect so when it finally downloaded the update i was a bit surprised.

i was on 1.1.2 in zelda and everthing was find until today right after the update.... (i changed language for the update, can that be the cause?)

What are my options? i'm very sad...
I'm tempting to restore the console, will my saves be safe if i use the "keep my data" option?

@maelis Whatever you do, don't restore the console you'll lose everything including save files and eshop purchases. What I'd recommend is try playing BotW with your internet disconnected.

@Grumblevolcano are eShop purchases not tied to the account that purchased them? or do you mean they would have to redownload their eSHop downloaded purchases

@ValhallaOutcast eShop purchases are tied to the account but the account is tied to the console so if you restore then all your purchases are gone because the restore makes the console essentially a new console.

I just looked some videos and it seems this orange glich appears in it too? in kokoriko village, at night, when you get close to a lantern, some parts of your hair "get orange" (and your clothes too). Maybe it is suppose to be normal?

this is exactly what i'm talking about.

can someone do a little test for me : go to the room where Inpa is at night, stand just below the lantern that is at the center of the room on the ceiling, right in between the entrance and inba. Then "lift" the camera to put it close to link, head.
When i do that i get that weird orange "spot" on the top of my head..
do you also have this?

the rest of the game is normal i so hope this is intended but it feels so weird...

edit : seeing this video now, i'm almost sure now that it is intended...holy crap i'm so sorry for that i got so scared i'm always nervous when i update..
