Thats nice, but pity it doesn't include Grandia III, the only one Europe didn't get and the one I don't own.

@FX102A

Perhaps they're waiting to see if the first and second are gonna sell well ? But agree with you, need the third one too !

I was just thinking yesterday "Grandia II is one of those games I've never played but want to based on all the good things I hear about it". Nice.

Non-binary, demiguy, making LPs, still alive

I have Grandia on my PSP, but I would love having a portable version of Grandia II.

Here's hoping for a physical release.

Never thought I would write in a thread started by Cobalt. LOL! 😋

Anyway... Finally got the Limited Run Games physical version of Grandia HD Collection delievered two days ago. Already put nearly 9 hours into the first game, playing it for the first time. Wow! This is so much fun! Anyone else playing it right now?

I don't see why they didn't include Grandia 3 as well, and call it Grandia Trilogy.

It's dangerous to go alone! Stay at home.

@Quarth I picked it up today half price on the eshop. I remember really liking the first game on the ps1. The 2nd game was good as well, but I didn't like the main character as much as Justin.

I'm trying to finish Ys VIII before starting Grandia.

There are some seriously bad sections in both Grandia I and II due to boring and confusing dungeon design but the overall experience is decent.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

Finished Ys VIII, so now I'm splitting my time be between Ys IX and Grandia. I think dungeon design aside, Grandia has aged really well. The combat is fun, and I like the amount of detail they put into the NPCs.

Put a few hours into Grandia II. Haven't touched the game since I owned a Dreamcast twenty years ago. The game holds up well. It might not be a top ten jrpg on Switch, but it quickly reminded me why it was a top five jrpg on DC. Playing Grandia II makes me want a Switch port of Skies of Arcadia even more.
