Topic: Games that nintendo switch owners want ported to the console

I personally believe that the nintendo switch is an awesome piece of kit.
I have played it everywhere in my house, back yard, and even at work when on break....ahem yes bathroom too..

I am slightly annoyed however with the lack of backwards compatibility and in my opinion a weak game lineup

I want to see games like

• Call of Duty
• Burnout series
• Team Fortress 2
• Grand Theft Auto
• Half life 2
  and more

I feel like the switch has alot of RPG style in mind, and is not making use of the console's unique features.

What else would you like to see ported to the switch?

Can we poll to make them happen?

I'll soon be... switching... from my beloved PS Vita and, personally, I'd like to see a number of that console's games released on Nintendo's new device.

Firstly, Nintendo's handhelds are in desperate need of a Katamari game! It boggles my mind that Namco have never released a Katamari on a Nintendo machine in spite of it, in many ways, being the system that the series would likely sell best on.

More third person actions games would also wet my whistle. BotW looks too slow and cumbersome. Splatoon was great on the Wii U, but the lack of communication and basically being an online game spoilt it somewhat. I'd like some faster paced action games. Kid Icarus, but with a normal controller setup instead of touch or sensor (or at least have them all optional).

Here's my list, bear in mind it's a bit small:

-Super Smash Bros.

I'd make a joke about this list being super obvious games, but for the most part it's obvious games if you said this like 5-10 years ago. :V

yeah I'm sure Half Life 2 and Team Fortress 2 is what all the gamers are demanding in 2017.

Weird to see Halflife and Team Fortress requested. Regardless, I'm hoping to see Overwatch come to Nintendo.

1.Monster Hunter Frontier (region free console, this game will never hit the west, but a Switch version would mean I can FINALLY try this game out)

2. Fortune Street (not a port, well, just a FS game in general for the Switch, I don't care, lol)

3. Overwatch (Not a fan of FPS, and this game doesn't interest me...but I would give it a try if it shows up here)

4. Monster Hunter XX/Generations 2 (Honestly was hoping for an HD port of 4 Ultimate, but Double Cross is already out in Japan, not happening. Ah well)

That's all I can think of port-wise. But if you wanna talk about games in general I can add to that list, lol

Reading the Nintendo direct thread has me believing the just want 20 year old games with Mario and Pokémon in them.

To be fair, more often than not, that's accurate.

Team Fortress 2 is still an awesome game (Plus it's now Free). it has been updated very recently and still has a massive online culture. Good for quick fun. would be a good fit on switch and it made it with orange box to Xbox and PS3 but never nintendo. HL2 I could take or leave, but the genre and type of game more specifically.

Would love to see a new Crusin' USA

The obvious one for me would be for Smash Bros. WiiU to be given the MK8 Deluxe treatment - being able to hand a Joy-Con to a mate for a quick brawl, anywhere, any time, would be so good...it'd fit the Switch like a glove!

Rocket League would fit pretty perfectly too - I doubt they'd be able to make it compatible for single-Joy-Con play as the game requires 4 buttons just for chat commands - but, like Smash, it'd just fit so well with the Switch...day 1 purchase for me if they ported it over!

As we're already getting Skyrim - it'd be great to see some other big hitters from that era: Oblivion, GTAIV Complete, Dead Island, Red Dead, Orange Box, LA Noire ..sure, they might be getting a bit old, but they're truly great games that'd be welcome additions to any consoles' library

Most of all though, I can't help feeling that there's a giant FPS-shaped hole in the Switch's current line-up that needs filling - most modern companies seem content to churn out the same, tired old franchises year-after-year - but, in the absence of anything better, I'd be more than happy for one of those companies to sling one on to the Switch to fill that gap until something original comes along!

@Pigeon Funny enough I can actually see the Switch be appealing to Vita owners. XSeed seems to be taking that plunge.

Dragon Quest series, Dragons Dogma, a new Metroid

Rocket league and Overwatch are the most obvious choices!
What I really want is Nintendo and Rare to sort out the licensing issues with Goldeneye and get that in the VC when the online servers launch! Imagine...
Enhance the textures and add 2nd analog support, that'd be dope

Katamari and a Vs Capcom game please

There are a couple games I would really like. I would love to see Persona and the Danganronpa Series on the Switch. It would be so cool to have these games but it seems like they've become exclusive to playstation . I would also love to see Overwatch and Rocket League. I've played a little of both, but I found them really fun and it would be awesome to have these portable versions so that I can play them between lectures at Uni. Like everybody else, I'm hoping for a Super Smash Brothers port and I would also love to see Super Mario 3D World on the switch. With the switch always having two controllers, it would be fun to play some competitive smash with my friends as well as some cool co-op stuff, anywhere and anytime I like. There are a bunch more games I would love to play, but these games are the ones that stand out to me.

@Ultimategamer132 Ooo, I would love Undertale. I still haven't played it and have remained mostly blind. It looks really similar to Earthbound so I thought it would do fairly well with the Nintendo crowd.

I hope it does get ported because of the potential audience it has. Also, I'd like all the games you mentioned to come as well. Though, Persona has little chance of coming since 5 was a PlayStation exclusive.

...I'd also like to see one of the 'New Super Mario Bros.' games ported over for the multiplayer
