@Dezzy - What would sell worst? The original many people want (and most of those who do, claim to be willing to compromise), or the "pocket" version nobody wanted?
Which leads to; S-E not "supporting" Switch due to lack of interest in their games they "test" on the system.
Honestly, the sheer idea of FFXV on the Switch would sell many, and I am not one of the market they want (lost me at VII). Though I truly believe their best best is to get SOMETHING out first, and Zodiac Age seems to be ripe for that quick cash-in.
That's a different question though because you need to scale it by the development costs.
The original version would definitely sell more. But it would also cost a lot more to get running.
Given that it's already gonna be available on PS4, Xbox and PC, you're only left with the core Nintendo fanbase who might buy it on Switch. And those people don't tend to buy games like this.
Hell, I'd even consider myself part of the core Nintendo fanbase but I already bought it on PS4.
@Anti-Matter i think it fits the Switch audience perfectly being more linear and its Ni No Kuni-ish...or should i say Pokemon-ish?
Game is great. And it would fit so well on Switch. Switch owners would eat this one up. Id double dip it since i dont own a VITA anymore
@Dezzy - Yes but which one would be worth them porting? I feel there will be a greater number to reach with the FF XV title alone, many just excited to have the core franchise again. So if (and a pretty big one) S-E wants to go that route and port FFXV, they should understand they would be aiming for a larger market share among those who purchase, or don't port XV at all.
The demo that was released about a year before the game had terrible performance, 8 years into the game's development.
The final PS4 version had terrible performance in Altissia. The Xbox version needed a reduced resolution in order to hit 30fps.
And when they delayed it midway through the year, they cited extra optimisation needed for framerate problems, as being one of the main reasons.
All the info points to the fact that it was quite a lot of work to make something this good-looking run at 30fps on PS4. Anything remotely equivalent on a console with half as many CPU cores is just not worth hoping for.
Probably a spin off of xv. If not, it a port of PS4 Xbox one it it would be a download only. Because it's 40-50 GBs from a quick look. Sorry for broken English.
@Lethal
Yikes !
I saw a Realistic Big Boobs of Cindy.
No no no....
This is the reason why I don't like OMG Ultra HD Realistic graphics.
My Disgust emotion (Inside Out - Pixar) keep on her duty to express my dislikeness.
@Snaplocket
Ah, same.
World of Final Fantasy at least better than FF XV due to Cute Chibi looking.
But, still... I feel the World inside World of Final Fantasy is Empty as FF VIII.
Somewhat like Kingdom Hearts...

You just wait until PC modders get at it.
Guarantee Cindy nude mod will be the first thing they make.
