Hey everyone, I’m new here and this is my first post. I am hoping to try and shed some light on this not being able to play friends issue. Here is what I have tested so far:
I’ve played 2 different friends on local seasons, and then after we’ve attempted to play eachother in Online seasons mode (separate locations on wifi) by basically hitting the search button at the exact same time (both of us are 5* teams and both of us currently in division 9). I will say that THIS WORKS! BUT, the huge BUT here is that we think that it only allows you to play your “friend” once every 24 hours (will confirm this in the next 1-2 hours). Also do not know how far away division wise or team skill wise away we can be.
Has anyone done anything similar? Keep in mind this worked for both people I played on local seasons.
@Russomanno That's great that you got to play your mate but I'd probably put it down to luck that you got paired together. Sometimes I have to do 3 or 4 searches to find an opponent and my matchmaking settings are as open as they can be, other than not matching clubs with international sides. There's just not enough folk bought the game to keep all the divisions and FUT occupied I don't think.. Hopefully it'll improve as more folk get the game over the holidays. . If sales don't really pick up though the chances of EA patching in friends matches are probably far lower than they would be if the game was successful.
Has to be more than just luck... between the two other guys I’ve played 5+ games over the last week.
Update on the 24 hour thing... seems not to be it, we are UNABLE to play eachother and 24 hours has surpassed. It would rather give us both no opponent found messsge then pair us... weird! I hope they fix this!!!
