Hi. I bought a controller for my switch Christmas 2017. This controller was not a pro controller or one by Nintendo, but seemed to work fine until April/may which I when I last played. I recently started up my Nintendo switch again and now when I connect the controller it says error code 2162-0002. I have looked online but everyone else gets this code for internet reasons, where my switch never gets an error code, but as soon as I connect this controller then I get it and have to restart my console. I have looked all over to try and find the controller which I bought but cannot find it. I was wondering if anyone knows what I should do, or if you are having the same problems. Just keep in mind that this controller was not by Nintendo but someone else, and did work until around April time.

Same thing happened to me too! Imagine my surprise when I checked out your controller and saw it was the same one that's crashing my switch! I may try seeing if I can update the firmware on the controller based on their instructions I found here: http://izdtech.com/index.php/tlanyashuomshu/
