Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if registering a game cartridge on your Switch for reward points stop you from using it on another Switch?

Absolutely not. Second-hand market wouldn't exist. But it stops you from registering it again, of course.

Nope, feel free to share your physical copies amongst your friends.

[OT] - I remember when the Xbone advertised locking physical copies to the first system they were played on as a "feature" during their tragic E3 2013 presentation. LOL. They've been playing second fiddle to Sony this whole generation thanks to that decision (and others).

Switch Physical Collection - 334 games (as of May 24th, 2019)
Currently playing: Final Fantasy XII (Switch) Mary Skelter (PS Vita) Monster Hunter World (PS4)

No, that won't stop it from being used on another Switch as another poster said then second sales would die and the prices for the games hit rock bottom as you can no longer resale the game. You would be stuck with a game that cost you before to one that is worthless now.

Nope! No issues there. You just can't claim the points on other profiles.

I do stupid stuff on youtube.com/mysticbros, so check it out if your bored or whatever.
Or don't, it's your time after all.

Aah ok. Thanks for your help everyone. I thought that might be the case, but just wanted to double check! Turns out it wasn’t really worth it anyway. I just registered about 6 games of mine, which gave me the grand total of £2.70 towards purchases 😂🤦‍♂️
