@komodo182 Hehe yea I got a bit carried away after starring up the porche, things got a lot easier and fun all of a sudden and I refused to quit til I hit that 10k club rep.

I've been enjoying career mode for several days now, and haven't spent a dime (though I regret passing on a $2 Porsche). But my internet got knocked out last night and now limited to just multiplayer and quick race, which is a major disappointment.

Looks and feels like Cruis'n Blast (arcade).

@bluedogrulez I gave them the $2 since I have played this game a lot and feel I should give something to them

@komodo182 : I applaud that. I might get the starter pack eventually, but really hoping some other cars are offered at $2. Not a big Porsche guy.

The Shop does turn over quickly and once something is gone, it seems to be gone for good. Missed the last blueprint I needed for the Eclipse upgrade, and haven't seen it since. Jumped on other blueprints that matched cars I was close to unlocking. Still hoarding those blue tokens a bit though.

@bluedogrulez I dont mind throwing a little money now and again at this game since its very fun. Can't say I will be buying the $120 car haha

@bluedogrulez The Porsche isn't that good. Top speed is terrible, and if I am not mistaken you can eventually get it with card packs anyways. It did make early career mode easier but now I only use it when I am out of fuel on everything else.

pps. Anyone else feel extremely satisfied when you ram the number 1 spot into oblivion during multiplayer matches?

Haha. I actually don’t mind them, but if you played a long time I get it. I have a Pro controller, you should pick one up if you don’t have it yet.

Fair warning, when you switch...no pun intended...to the Pro for the first time you’re in for a rude awakening adjustment. At least I was. The steering is so much more sensitive. Not in a bad way but you definitely will need to adjust in a few races. @komodo182

@CTmatic I thought about getting a pro, but they are just so pricey in Canada. Like 1.5 times the cost of a xbox or ps4 controller. I don't get it. I have multiple 360 controllers and ps4. Maybe I should see if there is a way to link one of those up.

@komodo182 check out 8bitdo. They have various cheaper alternatives to the switch pro controller (the SN30 Pro+ is better IMHO) as well as cheap adapters to use ps4 controllers with the Switch.

@redd214 I saw that. Trying something I already have, pc wireless gaming receiver and my xbox 360 controller. Seeing if I can link this up.
