I recall it being a summer release, but do we have a solid date yet?

Seems to be saying Autumn everywhere, @J-Plap .... Some places have 2nd August but I don't think that's official yet

My friend and I are pretty happy about the game having a release date. I haven't played too many Asphalt games aside from one on Windows 10 and a 3DS entry. Hoping to have some fun with this one.

@ss213 Sometimes going to the official source is a great way to find out release dates. Nintendo of America says October 8th, not sure about UK/Europe since I haven't check those Nintendo sites.

So this is another free-to-start game eh?

I've never played a game in the series; might be worth a dabble.

My friend messaged me about this, and I checked the eShop, this game can actually be preloaded right now. Just downloaded it myself, now to wait for launch day.

Question, has any other free-to-play game done preloading? This is the first time I've seen it happen to one.

@Sunsy yeah, most of the times (if not always) half of the questions asked on nintendo life can be answered with a quick search...

@ss213 Usually for release dates, Nintendo's own site is my favorite way to check. Now there's an article confirming it too.

@SKTTR So it's a first, that's neat then. I won't have to wait for day of release for a download and play right away.

Hope it's not too heavy handed with the micro transactions. Looking forward to trying to out!

SKTTR

@Sunsy Yes, you can preload it right now, and start to play 8th October 2019. It's 1,6 GB.

@Sunsy yeah, but I love to read it on NL. Now that there is the article I wished for I can enjoy the comment section and the hype. And besides, I usually only get news updates throgh RSS feed, so NL is my way to go.

@redd214 Looks good so far. I already have this pre-loaded, and looking forward to playing tomorrow. It seems to be what I expected it to be too, I played a few of the Asphalt games on Windows 10, so I'm going into this with that in mind.

One thing lets this game down the microtransactions if it can be monetised it is monetised. I would have rather them charge a fair price for the game and get rid of the free to play mechanics

@CTmatic You'd better put spaces in between your club name and the people you want to address, or they won't get notified...
