I have a Zelda BOTW NTSC version but I am using a Europe eShop and I am planning to buy the DLC pack, will buying the DLC through Europe eShop work for my BOTW ntsc version?
There is no "NTSC version" of BotW. It's the same cartridge worldwide. There might be a separate one for the Chinese market, but there doesn't seem to be one in existence at this time. So, yes, you can buy the DLC without any issues. The U.S. and European versions are identical (this may not apply to all games with DLC, however).
@Animboo In my experience with holding dual accounts on a single console, DLC seems to work only with products purchased from the same region's store. While the carts, themselves, are region-free, I would highly suggest buying the DLC from the U.S. eShop.
Hi Guys thanks for answering my question. I will try to create an American account. My issue is on paying the DLC as credit card for US usually require an address tied up to your card.
Update: I had contacted Nintendo customer support and the below is what they told me:
"Kindly create a Nintendo Account set to America and purchase the DLC from the American eShop (NTSC). In case you purchase the DLC from the UK eShop, the DLC will not work with your game."
