Topic: Did I get a faulty copy of the game?

On Saturday, I got a copy of Lego City Undercover, and I have played it for maybe 8 hours. When near bodies of water, I noticed that every once in a while, the water will flash white, which isn't a big deal. The big deal is that twice, one today and one yesterday, the game randomly closed and an message popped up saying "An error has occured" or something like that. It didn't effect my progress, but I know that this happened with some of the faulty copies of Zelda BOTW, so is my copy faulty?

I don't see why any specific "copy" would be faulty. Sounds like a bug in the game's design that can be rectified with a patch (if the developers are made aware of it). I've experienced a crash/error with Just Dance 2017, and I would attribute that to Ubisoft's programming… not the cartridge itself.

"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"

I've witnessed problems with the game too. One example being the fact I can't grapple onto a helicopter in one stage despite seeing the "A" prompt and pressing the button. Tried multiple things for ages but just gave up in the end.

The LEGO games are the buggiest games I've ever played. Every single one has crashes, game-breaking flaws and glitches. I just tolerate them as I love the games so much - I have them all (on various systems) and I've completed every one 100%.
