In fact there is something I would like to ask about gaming development on Switch.
Is it possible to create a game that allow users to import custom portraits in the game (like you can do in some rpgs mostly on pc) on this console?

I used to be a ripple user like you, then I took The Arrow in the knee

I doubt that you can be a real game developer but who knows? maybe I'm wrong.

If you're developing for the Nintendo Switch, what about if you make a MOBA game like Heroes of the Storm but with a more party, fun and casual style but with a competitive scene, like Super Smash Bros that you can play it as a party game but also as a competitive game, with items, special attacks, a lot of game modes, etc. maybe you understand me. I believe that a MOBA game on the Nintendo Switch it could fit perfectly, it can be the perfect console for MOBA's, Xbox One is for FPS and Nintendo Switch for MOBA games because of the multi-touch screen while you're playing on handheld mode or with the motion controllers of the joycons while you're playing on tabletop or tv mode, also because is a MOBA for consoles maybe a local multiplayer it could not be bad and also a matchmaking mode to play with people of your same skills. I always wanted a MOBA game on the Wii U because of the Gamepad functions but now the Wii U is dead and you're developing for the Switch so I hope if that one day your studio can make a MOBA party game for the Nintendo Switch.

yup , MOBA games are gonna be great on the switch but there is a problem with nature of MOBA games, you either have 2 options
1. Make a half baked game and make sure it succeeds and it usually doesnt
2. Spend money on developing a great MOBA game but at the current time switch isnt very financially encouraging to do that so maybe wait till sales go up and they might pop up on eshop

What made the Switch a good choice for you to develop for?

well currently on the switch No because nintendo is very very against modding , the only game with mod support i heard from a few friends that actually got approval is skyrim. Perhaps through an online platform this can be possible

their choice with Nvidia hardware . They made a great choice by using nvidia technology , not only are me and almost most devs in the industry familiar with it (unlike wii u) but also due to the great nature of dev support and API features found on the switch

Please use the chit chat thread or something.

If you are a dev, then that's cool. If you want to have a thread for this then identify yourself and ask for permission with the admins via the contact form.
