Topic: Cloud saves potentially not working on Switch Lite

So from my understanding, Nintendo have explained that there is no way of transferring save files from the OG switch to switch lite. Now I am not sure if they mean that you will not be able to use the save data transfer option to move files from the OG switch to the Switch lite, or if it means cloud saves will not work as well. Now, if cloud saves do not work on the switch lite, this is a huge problem. We may have another cloud save fiasco on our hands.

That'd be odd, @DannyBoi ... You can transfer between other Switches?

They haven’t really said this at all.

What they said is that they want to make it able to move the gameplay experience for people jumping from one console to another.

And in, you start making a level in Mario maker on the switch, and then go out and continue doing it on the lite.

I can imagine cloud saves will be working just fine.

I log into my sister Switch and continue my games on that when I visit with no issues so as long as your save is synced up it will be good.

I wonder if we will see a home box only at some point, seems pointless to jump from one portable device to another ever so slightly more portable device.
