Just saw this. Do we have confirmation of a western release yet? I imagine it will be localized sense these games are almost always localized.

Ohhhh! I wondered what happened to Blazblue. It was on the infographic at the Switch reveal and then disappeared into the wind. I hope Sol Badguy makes the roster.

Great news! Since there was already a BlazBlue announced for the system back at the Switch presentation, I assumed this was the one it was getting, but it is great to have official confirmation.

I can't wait for this game!

RWBY characters? That is both completely random and fantastic. This will be high on my list of 3rd party games to get.

@1Aozz101x You misspelled it in the title; it's just "BlazBlue".

I downloaded the demo for this game this morning and the graphics are very impressive. I found it hard to follow the action on the Switch's small screen as the characters move so quickly at times, and some of the colours of the characters blend into the background. I think this would definitely be one for playing on a larger screen.

Not sure if I will be picking this one up. I have pre-ordered SFII 30th. For me, these modern fighters are really hard to get to grips with as I find them quite complicated. This was my first time playing BlazBlue however, so I will keep playing the demo and see how I get on.

Got the demo Saturday and was blown away with it. Only complaint though was as soon as I got home with no internet connection I could only choose from 4 characters! Why even when I played Vs offline at public wifi I had access to a fairly decent roster now all I have is Ruby, Ragna, Yu and Hyde!

@GameOtaku The 20 characters was only available for a limited time. From now until the game releases the demo will be more restricted with no online play and only those 4 characters.

I'm really looking forward to the DLC characters myself. I normally use Mai in BlazBlue and heard rumours she'll be in the game based on silhouettes that were shown off earlier, and Naoto was my main in P4AU so I'm happy.

The controls have definitely been simplified. All characters seem to have a DP attack and it's now a single input so its much easier to pull off, and air dashing is now a single input too. That combined with the fact that there's really only 2 buttons for attacking and some auto combos make this a really beginner friendly game. Personally I think it's a lot more fun this way because it'll be a bit easier for newer players to compete with players online.

At least the other 2 members of RWBY are free dlc. The other characters though are paid. I'm loving the team animations like Ruby going fangirl over Ragnas sword!

I spent most of my weekend playing. Since hakumen is dlc, I'll be rolling with Jin as my first main... still trying to figure out my second. I'm liking the persona team but I barely played arena so I don't really know how they feel outside this game. Kinda wish I had my 360 so I could give it a go.

I wont lie. Like 90% of my interest in this game is just playing as the RWBY characters. I wish the RWBY game on steam would come to Switch. XD

I like the demo and it plays fun but I find with me any of these tag or anime fighting games I am button mashing more than games like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat or Injustice, obviously its me and not the games but that's my opinion on them

Got this game yesteray as Game have it in their weekly sale for 25 quid. Opened the box. Inside you get a free CD! It's one of those cute style 3" CDs so beloved of 1988 - 1992 singles chart ( I have a few). A total surprise. It's also held perfectly in place by the two grips inside the box (so that's what they're for). In this age where you seem to have to pay for everything, I mean they even sell digital soundtracks on PSN, it's nice to get a freebie. The box art doesn't even mention it. The CD is over 20 minutes and sounds awesome.
Last time I had an unexpected freebie was when I bought Shin Megami Digital Devil Summoner 2 on PS2 and the guy behind the counter handed me it's CD soundtrack too, in its own seperate DVD case.
Blazblue and Shin Megami both by Atlus. Why don't more companies pull this kinda thing.
BTW Game also have the Switch Shantae Day One boxset for 25 quid in the same weekly sale. Got that too! Better extras than above, but expected.

@Sakura7 Hate to do this to you, but you can get the game new for under £17 at various online outlets. I got it 2 weeks ago for £16.95. Good on you for supporting bricks and mortar stores though.

Yea don't mind as off work this week and get to play straight away. Which sites though cos I'll check out? Thought it impossible to find Switch games for the sub 20 quid mark.
