Good question. I think for a couple reasons. I’m in the minority and don’t think Bioshock Infinite was this untouchable masterpiece above the original and sequel. A LOT of people back then on forums viewed it like that. I think it’s fantastic, but I think Rapture’s atmosphere is far superior to Columbia’s.
Other then that I think it’s cause I was so Bioshock’ed out from investing thousands of hours into 1+2 back then. I’ll definitely play Infinite multiple times on Switch. I’m recharged, I haven’t touched my PS4 copy in years with the hopes of it ported to Switch. This is literally a dream come true for me, as corny as I’m sounding. Haha. @jump
I'm tempted to get this collection tomorrow when picking up Xenoblade Chronicles, but is it correct that only parts of each game is on the cartridge with mandatory downloads for every title?

Yep, you can only play the start of each game without downloading the rest. Its about 30GB in total and 7GB for the first one. It's not mandatory though, you can play without the downloads.
I've not tried in docked mode but it's looks fairly decent in handheld, it's still not as nice as the PS4 version though.
I should go back and finish the first one on Xbox One but I keep getting distracted by other games lol.
@CTmatic I prefer Columbia's setting over Rapture only because I am a big steam punk fan while I do like the aesthetic of Rapture the art deco style and such I just enjoyed Columbia more. Although I think making the third game in the air rather then underwater was a good change for the series before people got burned out in the Rapture setting. Did you play the DLC for Infinite where you go to Rapture?

@Zuljaras Right. But look at when Infinite was made compared to when Bioshock was made. Games at the time when Infinite was made was all about cinematic storytelling. GTA V was six months away from release, Tomb Raider just came out a few weeks before you had Far Cry 3 a year before and The Last of Us coming out soon to. All heavy Cinematic games.
Now when Bioshock was made storytelling wass more through atmosphere and such.

Yeah, Columbia is great. I’m not knocking it one bit, but Rapture is my favorite location of all time video game wise.
Yup, I’ve played every crumb of content in all 3 Bioshock’s. Completed all Challenge Rooms, Minerva’s Den, and Infinite DLC. It was amazing returning to Rapture in that DLC but it felt a little empty just cause the DLC was a totally different approach. Which was still cool, but I felt like I had my plasmids and tonics locked in a vault and wanted to use them so bad. Haha. @Tasuki
I could care less about the download stuff. Yeah it sucks but some games require this for technical reasons. I’m so sick of the complainers not accepting this. NOT saying you. That’s why I got a monster SD card in the first place. I’ll never ever have storage problems. 👌
The port is amazing. Been playing the past few hours. Fantastic. Anyone that expected it to be exactly on par with PS4 Pro or XB 1 is a moron. They’re out there... don’t tell me otherwise. My Switch Port wishes. Complete. That happy.
@CTmatic That's good to hear. I didn't think it would be on par with the PS4 pro or One X but come on you get it portable, how amazing is that. Might get it here down the line but I need a new SD card first.

I think a portable Bioshock has already been released on phones, I never played that version so I can’t speak for it’s quality.
Bought it again yust for the portability.
Games are great and I cant stress enough why you should play this, finally a shooter that dare's to be different.

There must be a decent chunk of people playing the games for the first time with this re release. I can't wait to see some first time reactions to the franchise
