Topic: Astral Chain

So what do you think about this upcoming game? I think it looks exciting! Except Link's Awakening, this was the coolest reveal from the February Direct.

When I saw the trailer I initially thought it might be Xenoblade Chronicles X 2. It looks like a ton of fun! Something new and unexpected, I'm definitely going to be picking this one up. Can't go wrong with Platinum combat.

@Cynas Yeah, I was also thinking Xenoblade or maybe SMT, but I'm glad it's a new IP.

This game can have all my money. Easily my favorite announcement from the Direct.

I really feel like this is gonna be revealed to have co-op at some point. Which is almost scary thinking about how much would happen on screen all at once in a Platinum game with co-op.

This game is just SO HYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYPE. Oh my god I feel like I can scrap everything else in my wishlist and go with this + indie and still be happy (well maybe pokemon, but otherwise that's it)

Can Nintendo just make Platinum a second party studio already?

Yeah, this looks pretty cool. Got to keep an eye on how it performs in portable mode, but it's one to watch for.

I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this one. I'm gonna need a little more info, but it looks quite promising so far!

Looks promising, although actual gameplay footage would be nice to properly judge it.

To me this is what Nintendo systems are missing. New exciting core gameplay ips from talented developers who care about the fan base. I will purchase this and I hope many others do. We need to get a trilogy out of this.

I initially thought this was Xenoblade Chronicles X2. And I got so hyped. A minute in, the trailer made clear it's something completely different, but I still kind of see a spiritual Xeno X successor in this. It's just so reminiscent of XenoX's style. Potentially the best Switch game in 2019.

And we have to wait until end of august?

I thought this was going to be some new expansion for xenoblade 2 because you know...its the same exact thing and is all anime looking...
