Topic: Are there any games that got released physically elsewhere but not in the States?

I love collecting physical media, which is why I imported I Am Setsuna for the Nintendo Switch as it is available at retail in Japan, whilst being a Nintendo eShop exclusive in other regions. The thing I'm wondering is; is I Am Setsuna the only one to get this treatment, or are there any other Switch games that got a physical release elsewhere but not in the states. I would love to know so I can import them.

oh, and before i forget, i know about Monster Hunter Double Cross, Dragon Quest Heroes I & II, Romance of the Three Kingdoms 13, and Square Enix's Spelunker. technically, yes i can import and play them on my switch, but i wouldn't understand much as they never came to north america's e shop, so there's no english version yet for those games yet :/

Think the obvious ones are the Seiken Densetsu Collection and Dragon Quest Heroes I and II..

The games will be always on Japan version. Only on PS2, Taiko no Tatsujin made a debut for English version, but only ONCE in its debut.

Oh and these two will probably release in the states eventually... unfortunately. But Vegas Party and Chicken Range have only been announced for PAL territories so far.

As for Taiko no Tatsujin... I haven't found any evidence of a physical release so far. But there might be, it's still a ways out.

Oh and if you only want english releases, I believe Song of Memories is supposed to have an English language option, the rest don't.

Yup! Like MegaTen said, the game auto translates if it exists in english even if it never got released here physically. Which is why I got I Am Setsuna from Japan, and why I'm still holding of for Secret of Mana, Monster Hunter Double Cross, and DQ Heroes I & II. the later ones wouldnt auto translate to english on my system because they don't have an english version on the switch yet
