Physical games aren't tied to your account. It's not the Xbox One during E3 2013.

Own up to Joy-Con Drift, Nintendo. We all know it's your fault

Physical games can be exchanged without issue.

"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"

Not only exchanged but obviously also borrowed. Good to know that savegames are also tied to your Switch and not to the cart so you don't have to be afraid you'll lose your saves if you lend someone your games.

Would love to be able to do this with digital games. I don’t mean make a million copies, just lend or swap digital games with friends, so there’s never more than one usable game file from the one you bought.

they say that life’s a carousel, spinning fast you’ve got to ride it well. The world is full of kings and queens who blind your eyes and steal your dreams. It’s heaven and hell.

Just for completion's sake; the only thing not doable is redeeming the gold coins multiple times across different consoles. Also if you import you might not acquire the goldpoints in a different region.

I know this does not hinder or impact the question of playability, but I at least wanted to mention that.

That won't happen nor was that the point of eShop games-it was so it was less expensive to buy. If they want their own then they will have to buy their own eShop game.

There is no hindrance to playing import games it's the Language the games come in if it is solely Japan voice/txt then that it unless it can change to voice JPN and EN txt. And you don't get goldpoints on some Import games-you won't know til you try but this is for Physical games only not for Digital AFAIK.

I know that. That’s why I said ‘would love’.

In my experience they are rarely cheaper than physical either.
