Hello all.

Sad news i know but im thinking about selling my switch console.

as i have 3 eshop purchases on the console im wondering if these would stay on there once i delete my main system profile? I dont want thew new buyer to have access to my account or my eshop balance hence the reason i will be deleting my profile.

I will get more money by including these games and im not at home to try it at the moment.

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried Mario Kart 8 Deluxe? It's pretty much the same thing.

I've just deleted my profile and can confirm. That you are unable to play games afterwards they are profile linked.... Lost all my saves too. Looks like it's a definite sale now .

Your purchases are tied to the account.

Edit: 30 seconds too late. Oops.

@gamermole interesting so even when you made it your activate account again and opened Zelda your saves were gone?

If you dont have the online membership and delete the user the progress is lost as the nintendo switch uses the user to connect to the account and save progress while the account is able to do cloud saves
