@Lroy My guess is Prehistoric Isle 2, Viewpoint, The Last Blade 2 and Ninja Commando.

I'd likely bite on NINJA COMMANDO and PREHISTORIC ISLE 2 (I'd like number 1 too although I believe that SNK title predates the Neo Geo hardware?)

From the little I played of VIEWPOINT on emulation I just couldn't get into it. Never tried LAST BLADE 2 although I know both of these titles are highly regarded.

I would totally die a happy man if Capcom, Midway, and 90's era Sega games made it to the ACA line!

Yep. Would love arcade era Capcom, Konami and SEGA's incredible line of arcade games to come to Switch. Also Taito, Cave, more Data East, more IREM among others. So many great arcade games could be given a new lease of life on the system.

@Lroy It is class, I love the chunky sprites - plus it's basically Castlevania and Streets of Rage's twin-headed, mutant, lovechild!

Oh man! Capcoms AVP scrolling beater - that would be the creamy dream!

@HauntingNostrils It's a good idea to keep an eye on their updates via the Kickstarter page too. That may well give a better insight into what's happening.

I'm definitely going for the ultra one the very second it becomes available. It feels like a lost era of gaming those ZX and Amstrad CPC days, It was a time of bonkers titles from a whole raft of bedroom brainboxes - total creative and programming freedom. Plus people who think dark souls is hard have never tried to complete Roller Coaster!

@HauntingNostrils I wish I had the money to go for the top of the range version but I was unemployed at the time.

Hey, has anyone seen any mention of Flying Tiger's (I think) Johnny Turbo arcade. I remember reading something about Data East games releasing this winter, but seems to have gone quiet!

I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.

@BanjoPickles it would be better for capcom and sega to port their retro collections from the ps3 with some added game then do this.

I would say Konami games are a possibility as well as Taito as they already available on PS4, can’t see them not being released on Switch

The update for Zero Gunner 2 is now available. Just had a go there to see if I noticed any difference and yep, all seems well now. Feels much more polished than it did before.Great game!

@FragRed Been there, buddy, tough times. There's not much between the two anyway, and either will be glorious to behold. Just to play Into the Eagles Nest and Dynamite Dan II on my telly will be enough to put a smile on my face for a good old while!

Flying Tiger Entertainment will release their first Data East arcade classic next week in NA. First up in the new Johnny Turbos Arcade line is Gate of Doom and it will cost $7.99. It's an action RPG with multiplayer that I've never heard of before.

@OorWullie Appreciate the heads-up buddy.

I love me some Data East and although GATE OF DOOM aka DARK SEAL wouldn't have been among my first hopes for a Switch release, I'm happy to see these games are coming albeit if the company/label putting out these Data East arcade games hardly inspire confidence based on their name. Is anyone familiar with Flying Tiger or Johnny Arcade?

Fingers crossed the emulation is up to snuff as the screenshots included on the US eShop entry for the game look very dark, blurry and in the wrong aspect ratio to my eyes.

As for the game itself, the HardcoreGaming101 guys surmise: "It actually feels like an evolutionary mid-way point between the simple arcade action of Gauntlet and the slightly more elaborate hack-and-slash dungeon crawling of Diablo."

Dungeon and Dragons' influenced action RPGs aren't exactly a seamless fit for arcade over console based games and from videos it seems the game is rudimentarily walk about and attack stuff, however, I'll give it a shot as I recall having fun with the sequel WIZARD FIRE aka DARK SEAL II on the Data East Arcade Classics collection for the Wii. Moreover, I really want to support these companies putting arcade games out, especially from the 1990s (a decade often ignored by the hardcore purist but host to some amazing games).

@OorWullie Looks as tight as a bat's nostril! Never played this but it looks a lot like DUNGEON MAGIC which was one of my mame go-tos way back when. Excited!
