Thanks for the heads-up about Double Dragon. Next year it is then.

This still the place to discuss arcade games on Switch? With SAMURAI SHOWDOWN 2 and BASEBALL 2020 coming from Hamster in the next week or so, that's all the currently announced Neo Geo games accounted for.

What are you folks hoping for in the next batch to come?

I'm hoping for SUPER SIDEKICKS 2 as from memory, it is an entry which improves upon the original whilst also keeping the quick and simple arcade sport feel. I've held off buying SUPER SIDEKICKS as I pretty much prefer every subsequent release in this series more than it.

WINDJAMMERS is a persistent hope but as has been discussed elsewhere on this site, if it comes to Switch it is likely to be via DotEmu the company who released an HD update version for PS4/PSVita.

PUZZLE BOBBLE. Again, not sure whether rights issues will mean this one comes to Switch outside of the ACA Neo Geo line but I'd love to get it on Switch.

Be cool to hear some of your hopes for upcoming titles, be they Neo Geo specific or other Arcade Archives? e.g. I'm still crossing fingers we get IREM's R-TYPE, IN THE HUNT et. al among others sooner rather than later.

It's gotta be Neo Bomberman, Night Slashers and Money Idol Exchanger. If I got those I would be fired up to a crisp!

@HauntingNostrils Assuming it's true that Hamster are to release all the Neo geo games on the Switch, I don't see why Neo Bomberman wouldn't come, though not sure if the others are on the Neo geo without searching.

Can't wait - I wasn't too impressed with Bomberman R, felt soulless compared to the vibrantly animated levels of good ole Neo.

@HauntingNostrils I want the Saturn game to be ported. Multiplayer on that would be awesome especially as it has up to 10 players.

@FragRed Oh man! I clean forgot about that diamond! I concur, bring it on!!!! While we're at it I'd love some old ZX Spectrum games to come out too - perhaps a little collections - feels like a forgotten era, outside of apps.

Also, I'd like more promo material and galleries to justify the price of some of Hamster's stuff.

@HauntingNostrils I backed the ZX Spectrum Next when it was on Kickstarter last year. It's not emulated but real hardware (apart from a tape deck but you can use SD cards) so I am really looking forward to that. There is a new Dizzy game being created by the Oliver Twins just for this machine But having them on the Switch would be awesome!!

Why don't I know about this! Dizzy (Especially the original with its hauntingly blippy music) is my spirit animal! I honestly feel that ZX Spectrum graphics are like the hieroglyphics that, when translated, explain where half of my childhood disappeared to. I am honoured to chat to a like-minded individual. When is this thing out?

Also as geeky as it sounds (and I don't care) I made a Jet Set Willy remake that's still downloadable on World of Spectrum website. Willy Vs. The Vampire Lord. It was a blast to dig into that game! I will have a next and I will dig in once again!!! @FragRed

@HauntingNostrils There is an official website for the system, where you can pre-order it. I don't know what the official launch date will be as there was a delay but they have got the boards sorted and the case designed so I think it will be a case of just waiting now. I hope. I will have to look up your game and give it a go.

NIGHT SLASHERS is one of my fave Data East games. Terrific and fun gothic horror side scrolling beat 'em up.

@Lroy My guess is Prehistoric Isle 2, Viewpoint, The Last Blade 2 and Ninja Commando.

CRAZY CLIMBER (Arcade Archives Hamster) has appeared on the UK eShop dated for release on Feb 8th. This is the same day slated for 2020 SUPER BASEBALL as well.

I'd likely bite on NINJA COMMANDO and PREHISTORIC ISLE 2 (I'd like number 1 too although I believe that SNK title predates the Neo Geo hardware?)

From the little I played of VIEWPOINT on emulation I just couldn't get into it. Never tried LAST BLADE 2 although I know both of these titles are highly regarded.

I would totally die a happy man if Capcom, Midway, and 90's era Sega games made it to the ACA line!

Yep. Would love arcade era Capcom, Konami and SEGA's incredible line of arcade games to come to Switch. Also Taito, Cave, more Data East, more IREM among others. So many great arcade games could be given a new lease of life on the system.

@Lroy It is class, I love the chunky sprites - plus it's basically Castlevania and Streets of Rage's twin-headed, mutant, lovechild!
