@Lroy Superb, cheers for that. I thought Art of Fighting 3 was all they announced this time. I've been checking every day for the last week.
That's a great list there, I'll be downloading the same as you plus The Last Blade.
Street Hoops looks great, I've had my eye on that one for a while. Soccer Brawl I can actually remember playing sometime way way back, early 90's probably. Top Hunter looks great,I meant to get that on Wii but never did. The Last Blade will be the 2nd last fighter I buy. Just Samurai Shodown 2 to go.
Never really played In The Hunt although I do know it's a submarine side scrolling shooter, I wonder if R-Type Leo and Mr Heli will be coming to Switch as well?
IREM games on Switch. Fantastic news. R-TYPE arcade is a genre defining classic and I'd love the opportunity to play official versions of IN THE HUNT and is it GUN-something? The pair cited as the key genesis behind the evolution of the formula for the seminal METAL
SLUG series.
Which of the Neo Geo fighters is best suited for more of a casual fighting game fan?
I've been able to run through some of the Capcom fighters on the easier difficulty settings (Street Fighter II, Super Street Fighter IV, Tatsunoko VS Capcom, and ironically, SNK VS Capcom 2), but the SNK fighters I've tried so far have absolutely been brutal.
I've tried Samurai Showdown II on Wii, and while I loved the theme, I'm lucky if I beat the third fight. Also tried KoF XIII on 360, but could never beat the boss (not that I really got a chance to get good at it, as our dog ruined the disc a week after I got it... but that's another story).
I know Street Fighter II is on the system, but as I'm just looking for something to tide me over until I can get Mario or Zelda this weekend, I don't want to spend much, which is why I'm eyeing a Neo Geo release.

@RR529 I'd recommend Garou, it looks really nice and plays really smooth. There's not a huge roster of fighters but that doesn't bother me.SF2 moves work with some fighters so it's easy to get into. Just like most arcade fighters it gets tough from the 3rd or 4th but you can lower the difficulty down a notch if your struggling. I'm sure there's 7 difficulty settings with 4 being the default so you should find a setting that suits you.
@OorWullie, thanks, I'll probably grab that one then.
Also, what about Waku Waku 7? I like the art direction in that one (makes it look like it could be more casual friendly, but looks can be deceiving...).

@RR529 I haven't played that one but I know it's supposed to be quite good and plays a little differently from normal 1v1's. I'm not sure about it being more casual friendly but being an arcade game, the difficulty will still be quite high, at least on its default setting.
I was wrong about Garou having 7 difficulty levels, it's only 4. It's KoF98 that has 7.
@OorWullie, yeah, I ended up getting Gaoru, and even at it's easiest difficulty setting it's still pretty challenging for me.
I managed to beat Kain (the second boss character) with both Terry & J. Benet (though I had to use one continue each), but for the life of me I couldn't beat Grant (the first boss character) with Hotaru (after 5 tries I finally gave in and used the 1/4th enemy health handicap to win).
Wish it had some sort of training or versus mode though, so I could more easily learn the ropes.

Next week's Neo Geo title will be the one I've been waiting for, Pulstar. A game hugely influenced by R-type but is still regarded as one of the Neo Geo's best. So we'll have Pulstar and R-type arcade by the end of the month, superb!

Awesome news! Never played PULSTAR before but the animated cut scenes or arcade attract mode intro and the score really appeal to me. I also love R-TYPE so to get that and a Neo-Geo game highly inspired by it and praised in its own right in the same month is fantastic.
According to this - http://www.japanesenintendo.com/post/168851665029 - we're getting Nichibutsu's Crazy Climber on 11th January. I think we're starting to ge the arcade games already available as part of Arcade Archives on PS4.
