Topic: Anyone have the Yellow Joy Con yet? Are they distracting in handheld mode?

The yellow is super attractive, but also extremely bright. I was considering getting a pair, but I was wondering if they're so bright as to be a distraction while playing handheld mode.

Not really. The red is bright too, but when you're playing you're playing. Idk. I mean, you notice it but zone it out when focusing on playing. Hands cover most of them anyways.

I have them and really love them. I can't imagine a new color as fun as this one unless they're going to make themed ones like with monster Hunter or something...

They're bright but fun:) and I play a lot of handheld mode. Nothing distracting to me.

You'll get people to notice your switch more though when you're gaming outside.

I don't think Neon colors are too Bright.

Btw, in any chance, when I got my Switch + 2 pairs of Neon Joy Cons, I might teardown carefully the Red Joy Cons to RePaint them with my desire colors (White / Indigo / Turquoise). Well, I will get my Limited edition color eventually.

I have the neon yellow set. Once the game is going I couldn't tell you the color of the controller, as my attention is focused on the TV. Perhaps it would be different in handheld mode, but I don't use that.

Loving my new yellow joy cons and the only distraction is while waiting on games loading (such as shrines in BoTW) I like to admire them. Definitely recommend.

I love the yellow. I had the blue/red and the gray before. I liked the gray because it's sleek and immersive, but the red/blue was just too fun. But the yellow has got to be the most fun color (certainly none brighter!) there can be. I'm strangely not distracted by it. You'd think it would be distracting, but even in direct sunlight, it's not, even though it looks like a beach toy I've been playing mostly in handheld. I smile every time I pick it up.
