203 hrs 31 min. in just under 3 weeks. Learned a little about farming,learned how to make a lot of money, learned how to spend a lot money, even learned a little bit about raising sheep. Now if I could only learn how to drive.love the game.

Anyone else out there playing farming simulator on a Nintendo switch having any problems with getting equipment to work? I wanted to start raising cows but can’t get the mixer to except any hay bales.
I have everything it takes to start raising cows but the power food. I purchased the Siloking selfline compact 1612 to start mixing my power food. It will except my straw and silage bales but refuses my hay bales or grass. Also wondering if anyone else is having a issue with the game restricting the amount of pallets or bales you can accumulate. I now own every field; wish I could sell some back, makes for some long sessions. I also have 500 hrs and still loving the game. I must admit, if not for The Breath of the Wild, I would not own a Nintendo Switch. My next purchase will be x box one x.
@ReaderRagfihs The only reason I purchased the Nintendo Switch was.because of Zelda The Breath of the Wild. I have always enjoyed that series. I just happened to run across farming simulator for this console, purchased it and have really enjoyed playing the game. I have been told that farming simulator is much better on a PC, X BOX or PS4. I do have a couple of other games, Syberia 1&2 and lifeless planet. Just not interested in any other switch games. More interesting games on Xbox.
@Delibheel what features would they be? You can not get any mods for the switch edition and I am starting to believe switch limits you to less items then the other consoles.
Well for starters on mobile each field shows you an icon of what's planted there, and it changes colors to let you know it's ready to harvest.
Another small one is that when your harvester is full you can honk and the nearest machine capable of holding produce will come and take it so you can continue harvesting.
@Delibheel X Box One does not inform you in the upper right corner that your harvester is nearly full, then again when it is full. What difficulty setting are you playing by the way. I’m a 75 yr old man playing the easy game. Not interested in traffic or withering etc. Just playing to injoy. Maybe the more difficult the game the less it gives you information regarding your play. Just simple and easy for me, no stress. Thanks for the info.
@Delibheel I’m playing the game on Nintendo Switch and I do believe it is 2017 version. I just do not think that it is the complete version that you would get on x box one. I would love to get version 2019 but switch doesn’t offer that version. Sooooo, I need to get me X Box One X or so I tell my wife.
I haven’t yet been able mix the power food in order to purchase any cows. The mixer will accept a bale of straw, a bale of silage but will not except any hay. Keeps telling me this bale not supported. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Could use some help.
