Topic: Anybody farming?

Just been on the 3DS eshop and noticed this on sale there. Anyone know how the 3DS version compares?

They're mostly identical to the mobile games, which are not that different from the home console games at all.

If it's the 2014 edition, you can try that one for free on your phone.

I was going to plant Sunflower seed today but noticed the switch version doesn’t have Sunflower or corn. Looks like I will have to get a Xbox One X, so as to get it all. I have managed to upgrade all my equipment and purchased 3 more fields all with soybean and missions. So till next time gentlemen, happy farming. Apply Thanksgiving Guys.

I wonder if the market analysts have taken into account how many people are going to by an XB1X so that they can grow sunflowers.

@tkvalead Um, what??? Switch version DOES have sunflowers. It's listed right there in the description for it. Are you using the right sower? There's different ones for sunflowers and corn.

It also has animals, they're right there in the eShop pictures and trailer.

@Freelance I just realized that I have been playing this game all wrong. I have not been using the right sower thinking that they all sow the same. I have made unnecessary purchases and wasted a lot of money. This old mind I believe is finely catching on. Without some sort of a manual, it is a sort of guessing game for me.

Glad we could help. Yes this kind of game really needs a manual, it’s a shame they don’t really give any.

However you should be able to find what each piece of machinery does with some googling, since they’re all 100% real machines.

I still can't believe there's no manual. Seriously. Even the handheld games have one. Are you -sure- there isn't a digital manual included?

You could just also look online for a FS17 guide for PC. It's the same machines after all, so what it says in there applies to consoles as well.

I was doing a mission today on, I believe field #27 which was located next to what appears to be a farm. My question is, do you need to purchase the field in order to use the farm for livestoc?

@gcunit And that I am. Actually that 120 hrs seemed like minutes.Really enjoying the game. I am just playing the easy game. I’ll get to the normal game soon. Easy game is just relaxing and fun.

@tkvalead Delighted to hear it. I don't have the game yet, but I'd like it, I just have to behave myself a bit and stop investing in more time sinks until many other things have been done.

@gcunit You will not be disappointed purchasing farming simulator. But I most warn you, it can and will consume you. Greatest game I have ever played.

I know most of the symbols used in farming simulator but there are a few I’m not sure of. They should at least add a little information regarding this game. Just saying.

Anyone know how many silos you can put on your farm? Are there any other locations that you can place them?
