Well that was a pleasant surprise. We'd been missing two fossils for the museum for quite a while now, and got them both back-to-back today! Now just to get the fish, bugs, and art. Yeah, this is going to take awhile.
@Xyphon22 It should be possible to get all the fish/bugs in 6-7 months if you have any friends in the other hemisphere. Art will take forever though... At some point we will need to start trading real art because Redd can have real art that has already been donated x_x

Can you accept the best friend request that I sent you in-game? You need to go to Best Friend List app
then hit R button 5 times to get to the Best Friend Inbox section.
@BrittGOAL14 If your are tired of digging up clams for bait, you could try to get the mystery island with only large fish. On mystery islands it is possible to catch pier-only fish in the sea.
