I’ve taken villagers I really had no interest in just to get rid of one I really wanted gone. I’ve noticed a few times that in less than a week, a new villager would tell me they are leaving. What I do is concentrate on their personalities. If I, looking to get a specific villager, I’ll make sure I dint have any other villagers on my island with that particular personality. That way it gives me a 60% chance of getting a campsite villager with the personality I’m looking for. If you don’t know about villager personalities, check this website out.

@BabyYoshi65 I would rather not have random lurkers in the forums pillage my island. My island is not setup with extensive fences to protect itself like you'll usually see on islands that allow anyone to visit with Dodo Code.
