How you can explain THAT ONLY THE SWITCH is impacted and NOT WHATEVER OTHER DEVICES, Wii U, PS4, 3DS, PAD, PHONES etc... ?

Exactly this. Just look at my previous post and judge for yourself, @Alantor28

The games that I play are: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Puyo Puyo Tetris, Arms, Zelda: BotW, Mario Odyssey, Sonic Mania. I have finally 100%'d all of them!

@Cobalt Well, my PS4 and possibly the 3DS have trouble connecting to the internet during office hours, so I have to wait until my parents' office is closed and bam, the Switch, PS4 and 3DS works fine. Plus, also my mobile devices also have trouble connecting to the internet when the law office building my parents and I lived in is busy during office hours. So like skywake said, it's not the Switch's WiFi having problems, it's interfence during work hours.

@Cobalt Dude, calm down. I was just explaining the possible theory about the reason why my Nintendo Switch's Wifi may have trouble connecting to the internet. No need to yell, man.

@Dugu Nah, I'm good. I only play with friends who have good WiFi on their Nintendo Switch. And since you claimed that the Switch has bad wifi, adding you on Switch is a no-go, no offense or anything.

I know that capital letters mean yelling but it wasn't the purpose... So I ask you to excuse me for that !

I just wanted to make the focus on the " my own apartment "... Sorry dude !

@Cobalt Eh, it's okay. I'm not really bothered by that. I'm sure you have your reasons for saying the Switch has bad WiFi and I can understand that.

Sadly, yep I have WiFi troubles only with my Switch...

Maybe there are series with problem and others without ? It's a possibility after all...
I remember the screen of my gamepad(pack ZombiU) was perfect, like 6500 kelvin and the one of my best friend was totally warm, kind of Yellowish tinted (pack Splatoon) like 4500 kelvin...

So, why not some series of the Switch with good and bad WiFi ?

As I mentioned before (and you kind of ignored), there's multiple things that affect it. Shape of apartment, position of router, position of fridge in relationship to router and Switch, number of other devices connecting at once, any neighbors leaching internet off you... All this will affect your wifi network's capabilities in various parts of the apartment.

@FaeKnight

I understand what you're saying, no problem !
My point is that IF the shape of apartment, position of router, position of fridge in relationship to router and Switch, number of other devices connecting at once, any neighbors leaching internet off you... WHY only the Switch is affected by the problem ?

My WiiU, my PS4, my Pad, my phone etc... aren't affected by the same problem. If my Switch wasn't the only device with the problem, I'd say that your explanation is probably the right one, but in the present case it isn't...

It's not, but perception bias is a thing. And online gaming is more demanding of the wifi connection then just browsing the internet. My apartment is likely a lot smaller then yours. But there are points in my apartment where the wifi network is spotty. Not that this means there's no connection possible at all, but that things like online play or downloading a game over wifi are more likely to get interrupted. My 3DS often can't download a game or update if it's in my bedroom. The PS Vita has no such issue, but has trouble if it's too close to my desktop or is in the kitchen area. If I try playing a match of Blood Bowl on my laptop in the bedroom online I've got a 50/50 chance of the connection blipping for a moment, thus causing me to forfeit the match. And playing an MMO in the bedroom has a lot more lag then anywhere else in the apartment. Most often due to connection blipping for a bit.

For online gaming you want a wired connection at best, or the device having as few things causing interference with the wifi signal. That means ideally the switch would be in the same room as the router, with no electronics between it and the router. In this regard it's not the Switch's wifi capabilities that are the problem, but the router's ability to broadcast the wifi signal to the switch. And if any of your neighbors are leaching internet off your wifi network, that's going to be yet another thing impacting the network's performance. And it's still not the fault of the console.

Let me try a different way. You go to McDonald's and use their wifi or you're on vacation at a hotel with a free wifi connection. Do you blame poor connection speeds and inability to do consistent online gaming on your device's wifi capabilities, or on the local network you're tapping into? It's likely the same situation here. You're blaming the device instead of looking at the network's coverage.

So your laptop has no connection issues anywhere in your apartment, are you using it to play online games? Your other consoles have no issues... Are they using wifi or wired connection? And if it's wifi, where are they in relationship to the router? When your switch has issues, consider what all is between the Switch and the router. Are there any electronics or other appliances? How many walls (with accompanying electrical wiring) are between the Switch and the router?

Instead of just blaming the console, try thinking about all other environmental factors too. You might have a system with a defective wifi receiver, but it's more likely an environmental issue.
