I recently bought Alien Isolation, and I started playing it on my switch lite. I love the game but I noticed that the motion controls are not working at all on my switch lite. I have played other games on my switch lite that have motion controls like Wolfenstein 2 and breath of the wild and they both work fine but for some reason with this game It doesn't work at all, It will only register large movements and I can't use it for precision. Has anyone else tried this? I just want to know if my system is like messed up or something or if this is a widespread issue with the lite.

The Lite doesn’t have gyro like a phat. There’s only the system gyro. Likely the game is set to not read system gyro as precisely as joycon gyro. That’s just my guess from fiddling with the Labo Garage, though.

Thanks for the thoughts, I was just hoping I wasn't the only one trying to play this on a Switch Lite and get some feedback either way.

@JaxonH Have you played this on your Lite and noticed what OP is experiencing?

Gyro works for me.

At least, I'm 99% sure. I dont recall having issues with it, and that seems like something I'd notice.

@JaxonH here is a video of what i am experiencing

If you have the game on your switch lite if you could fire it up and just see if you're getting something similar I would really appreciate some definitive confirmation, thanks.

I have an update for anyone interested:

A friend of mine pick up a switch lite and let me load my profile and the game on his system, it turns out the motion controls worked fine on his. The only remaining difference i observed was that on his system i had installed the game on the internal memory. I decided to try deleting and reinstalling the game again but this time I removed my MicroSD card (SanDisk Ultra 512gb U1) and installed the game on the internal memory of my switch lite. This solved the issue, after installing on internal memory the motion controls work perfectly, it is really strange because no other aspects of the game's performance was effected and i had tried multiple times to delete and reinstall the game on the SD with the same results. I should add that i then installed a smaller 200gb card on my friends switch lite and installed the game on that with no issues the next step is probably to delete the game and try installing on the smaller sd on my system to see if infact it is some weird quirk with the 512gb card I will keep updating on any progress.
