So, I’m just under 17 so I can’t check out Skyrim in the eshop (or any other M game) so I was wondering if I got a physical copy of it, would I be able to play it or would there still be an age restriction?

@BurgerMan That restriction is probably due to parental controls, so no.

@Strix No, there is no perental controls or anything, but I have tried turning it on in the past with no restrictions, didn’t do anything for me, I even tried using the app

@BurgerMan What country are you in? Perhaps your region has laws where the shop can't sell the game to people your age. If you can get a physical copy, at worst you just make another account and play on that one. Just lie about your age, no one is going to check things.

Of course this is assuming parental controls aren't the reason you are having this issue.
