@Sasmondo I'm 31 which I guess is as old as the hills around here ..... anyways, add me and I'll add you back.
Not really. That seems to be a fairly average age based on what I've seen from the people who regularly comment on Nintendolife articles. It's extremely rare that I've seen someone below the age of 20, usually it's late 20's or early-mid 30's.
I'm heading off to the wilds of East Anglia for a week now, where internet data packets are sent via carrier pigeon, but when I'm back I'll rinse through this thread and add a few of you others. Keep on gaming. And remember, winners don't do Funyons. Or maybe they do. Go Funyons.
30 isn't old. Sorry to burst thy bubbles guys (and gals) but you're all just middle aged at best. Still got plenty of young years ahead of you.
I'm 25. But prefer not to voice chat just because I know someone will say something about my voice. I'm pretty vocal in Splatoon 2 with the "This way!" "Ouch!" and "Booyah!" indicators.
Never take anything I say seriously. S'all you buddy. ;)
Mainly play on my Switch but I have 3DS, Wii U and PS4 as well.
Fave game series include: Pokemon, Smash Bros, Splatoon, Disgaea, Bayonetta, Dragons Dogma, Phantasy Star & Arena of Valor.
I'm 44 so does that make me the Yoda of the group?!
At 44? Step back, young'un. When 48 summers of video games you have seen, Yoda you may call yourself (but only if I'm dead). I've been doing this thing since VIC-20s and Atari ruled the geekosphere, and if anybody's going to be Yoda, it's me.
You can be Obi-Wan. He was kinda old.
😛

All Yoda jokes aside, this is so true. I would even argue that it isn't even middle aged, in any culture except for video games. I'm maybe middle aged, but I don't even feel that way about myself most days.
You're only old when you decide you're old. I'm nowhere near ready to be old. I'll accept "mature" as a category if I must, but I still reserve the right to watch cartoons and blow bubbles in my milkshakes.

Anyone who is 'adult' enough to deduce my age (+-1 ^^) from my name, feel free to add me ... 3355-6459-9982 (3DS/NNID in my signature, just FYI though, I don't do much online gaming on either systems anymore these days)
I'll make the effort and go through the thread so far and send invites to folks who already posted their FC.
Last but not least, I'm European - just in case time zones matter to anyone here. Looking forward to playing with ya all at some point or another.
Edit:
Invite send to Maya, NyteDaez, Krillin, Cynas, Windy, Bunkerneat, Dan, Grail, TomCat, Godlike, Sgt. Pepper and of course adam_9-9.
Should I have missed anyone ... my bad, just send me an invite ^^

I'm 45.
I'll add you guys when I remember. I don't think about once I leave work (where I browse the forums from). Once I get home, I don't even touch a computer.

I don't even know what a VIC-20 is. We had a Texas Instruments TI-99/4A though. Growing up we had Intellivision. As I got older I spent my paper route money on a used Atari, then when NES came out, I painted my neighbors fence and took the money I got from that to buy my NES.
My dad had PONG too, but I didn't play it much. It was too out dated compared to our high tect Intellivision and Atari haha.

@roy130390 The system can't seem to find that friend code.
@GrailUK I might be ... frankly I forgot, the very concept of time has long since lost any meaning to me. It's like a ghost haunting my existence. Always there ... and yet always gone once I try to reach for it. 85 years? Maybe! 85 centuries? Possibly! 85 millenia? Unlikely!
I'm just glad this demonic Switch device came along, helping me deal with what seems like an endless, eternal void - a torrent of events just ... unfolding, always unfolding. To me it's all just shape without form, shade without colour, paralysed force, gesture without motion ... wwwwait nope, I just remembered! I was born in 1985. I'm not old enough to talk THAT weird
Good eve everyone. Newbie to the group as of a few days ago. Reading this thread is what made me what to join the group, so thank you for that. I am also an "older generation" gamer, born same year as Episode IV. My first love for gaming came from my NES followed by SNES etc. I love the Switch, its one of my favorite gaming systems and the only one I have been playing since its launch. I have not used the dock and have only been playing Zelda BOTW and Mario Kart 8 in handheld mode. I just started playing Splatoon 2 and its a lot of fun. A different take on a shooter than what I am used to which is why I like it so much. I will update my signature with my friend code once I get home, if anyone wants to add me.
I never had trouble adding and being added in the past :/... I also connected just now to see if there were any problems but nothing, I can play online as always.
Edit: Hey guys, sorry but I think there was a missunderstanding... I'm not a Switch user, I posted it specifically for Sasmondo since he has a 3DS with pokemon Sun and replied to me. I did specify it on my first reply but I'm aware that it's misleading on a thread about trading Switch friend codes. Sorry!
I'm 37 in the SF Bay Area, the gray in my temples and beard have elicited a few "sir"s from people that are old enough to know better 😁 Sounds like I'm towards the mid-to-upper end of the forum community. I've been lurking around the forums but only just signed up. I grew up on the NES and Super NES, and only got back into gaming with the purchase of a Switch. I have to say I love it, and unintentionally have convinced one of my co-workers to buy one for xmas for his son.
I've been playing a lot of Zelda and Mario Kart, along with a few of the indies that have been released. I bought Splatoon 2 but haven't cracked it open yet, work's been eating a lot of my time lately, nor have I done much online play yet. It would be cool to try playing with the non-Snapchat crowd, my friend code is SW-5436-5036-4129
@JasmineDragon@Sasmondo 52 here. Older than Dirt I'm so sad.......My kids have moved away and I have nobody to play Bomberman 94 against. I did play online with my Grand son the other day but it was an Android game. Wow! How things have changed
