What is everyone's thoughts on the Switch not having any Achievement or Trophy system? Personally I am a trophy hunter and love the challenge I think it would be great if Nintendo brought some sort of system to the switch.
@JynxageV1 I have mixed feelings about this.On the one hand i admire Nintendo for sticking to its guns and not copying Microsoft and Sony with a Trophy/Achievement system so people play the game because they enjoy it rather than playing it to be rewarded but on the other,being a Ps4 and Switch owner myself i often find myself buying something on the ps4 instead of the Nintendo system just for the fact it HAS trophies even though I would of rather had it on the Switch lol
And by the way I'm not really a Trophy hunter myself and will only try a game for the platinum if I feel it will be pretty straightforward.I won't go out my way and spend hours upon hours of trying to obtain a trinket that gives me no joy.
I know a lot of people are unhappy about the lack of a reward system and it's probably better if they do come up with SOMETHING.Of course some games have their own in game trophys and I'm quite happy with that tbh.
@Wazeddie22 im the exact same I would really like Dark Souls Remaster for Switch but because I have a platinum trophy for Bloodborne, Dark Souls 2 SOTFS and Dark Souls 3 its making me want to finish the Dark Souls trilogy on PS4. However im thinking about waiting and getting Wolfenstein 2 and Skyrim on Switch as I have no interest in getting trophies for those games.
@JynxageV1 Wolfenstein 2 was one game I was definitely planning to buy on the Switch...unfortunately,I couldn't wait for such a long delay and already bought and finished on the ps4!
Skyrim is another game that I would absolutely love on the go,but I spent about 110 hours on the xbox360 version years ago and barely have time for new games let alone old ones lol
I can understand your feelings with trophy s on the dark souls remaster.I'm not a fan myself,but I'm absolutely loving Bloodborne since it was given away on Plus recently and getting the plat for that game and all the other tough as nails games really IS something to be proud of so well done!i doubt I'll even finish Bloodborne let alone plat it.I'm so bad at it.
@Wazeddie22 how was Wolfenstein 2? Im in no rush for it so I dont mind waiting. Yeah I started off with Bloodborne and then went Dark Souls 3 then Dark Souls 2. Once you get used to it the difficulty isnt that bad, the main thing is making sure your leveling up so even farming for blood echos until you feel strong enough to handle certain bosses!
