@Knuckles-Fajita Ok, that’s pretty messed up, they have no right to consistenly act like people are allowed to ask questions, then the moment someone has a legitimate question (In this case the DLC coming to Xbox, PS4, and Switch) they tell them to shut their traps.
Their PR is absolutely abominable.

Switch: Fire Emblem: Three Houses

@Deku-Scrub Liam Robertson just blocked me on Twitter because I told him, while yes we should be thankful for the Switch port no one expected, that doesn't mean we should ignore the fact no one expected it because they belittled and insulted people asking instead of directing everyone to a room on PR 101 with:
"We have nothing to announce about a Nintendo Switch release and no plans at this time"
You don't run a business by insulting the people who will be keeping your lights on, you know?
Whatever.
Now Playing: Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Crash Bandicoot 4
Great question! The game runs 720p at 30fps, and It has the full list of post-processing effects, motion blur, depth of field, etc., it looks fantastic! The experience is definitely the pure A Hat in Time adventure, with some extra updates, upgrades and fine-tuning on top! In handheld mode, the resolution is a little lower, to match the smaller Nintendo Switch screen compared to a giant TV.
I was never interested in a Switch port anyway. The game has mod support on PC, and that's always a bigger draw for me. Plays great with an xbox controller. And it looks stunning, in 1440p and 144fps. One of the best 3D platformers ever made!
Talks about inspiration, difficulty about porting an unreal engine 3 to a nintendo console, dlc announcements and more is talked about in the link below.
That's good to know. Also good to know it'll come with the DLC, I was just gonna skip it if the PC version was gonna be the only way to get the complete version.
At this point, all the DLC had better be included with the base game. It's the only way to justify how long this port is taking, imo. A physical release would also be advisable, considering how stuck on cartridges many Switch owners are.
So I finally gave up waiting for them to patch the OS X controller support bug, and just installed Windows on my Mac so I can play the game I funded on Kickstarter so long ago, and I was reminded how good the game is (I was playing via keyboard mapping in Big Picture before, but that took away analog stick control).
If you haven't played the game yet, you really owe it to yourself to pick it up on Switch. It's amazing how Gears For Breakfast, a team of developers who started developing the game as students, came to many of the same design conclusions for the evolution of 3D Platformers that Super Mario Odyssey did. For example, both games introduced a dive mechanic into their jumps. That might seem like a simple idea, but it really does elevate the genre, because it makes jumps a far more dynamic process in 3D, and creates far more opportunity for depth.
Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F
I'm a non-PC, Switch-only guy. I've spent years hearing people say this game is fantastic, that it kicks the crap out of Yooka-Laylee, etc. Is it really that good? I've been underwhelmed by gameplay videos I've seen. The world seems somewhat disjointed and incohesive in terms of atmosphere and characters.
